Frame buckled both rear and side under carriage (to the point where front wheel well is out of body alignment
Suspension gone
Lift gate fused closed and out of alignment

atleast I have a piece of their car to take with me… which I also think may be stuck there forever.

fully stopped - 3 cars behind me didn’t feel like stopping.

with a unibody frame - fixable? Or can I just pound it out with a rubber mallet whilst pounding a few beers to drown my sorrow

The most important question is are you ok?
You should get checked out.
The BS can be replaced, hopefully the people that hit you have good insurance.

I would think about getting a lawyer vs. Just letting insurance handle the situation.
to be quite honest, I’m fine. Impact didn’t feel like it did that much damage. It wasn’t until I started to drive off the highway onto the shoulder that it felt like I was rock crawling.

I got out and looked and was then caught off guard. I will say, impact absorption on the BS is pretty darn good.

The first car that hit me got rear ended as well and got flung up alongside of me and was pinned between me and the concrete median. Then when the 4th car hit car #3, car #2 got pushed up completely parallel to me. Car #2 definitely took more hits than I. And my BS didn’t even budge.

everyone walked away, but definitely not a fun experience

See what the insurance says. I had a 1993 Escort that was rear ended. Insurance totaled it. I bought it back for about 500.00. Had a local shop pull the back end out. Put on a used bumper and a splash of paint. Had to re title it a salvaged but kept it for another 10 years or so. My Daughter learned to drive using it. She had it all through high school and college. I gave her my car when she moved to Phoenix after college. I drove it for a few more years after that. By far the best thing that ever happened provided you don’t care what the vehicle looks like.

yeah, getting picked up tomorrow for review. Just depressing after only having it for 1 year and already putting time and energy into mods. I think it’s fixable, but then I’m seeing “back ordered” on all parts I would assume needs to be replaced. So who knows when I might get the car back if it is fixable. I don’t want to be stuck in a rental forever.

we will see…

You don't want to play the branded title game, salvage, rebuilt or rebuildable titles don't work in your favor. If you really think the unibody has been compromised, you do not want that vehicle back, let it be someone else's problem.

Ford Bronco Sport Fixable? wckbt45h8ya1gb35aywzhw3ehflh7c1kmz7p-rid-giphy-

Its probably not totalled. They will put it on a frame rail and repair it. I will say though, if its a 3 yr. lease it would be 3 and flee for me.
I almost titled this post with that quote!
Not leased, but my insurance company is also my car loan provider. So I’m thinking it’s all up to them and how much they are willing to fork out. It’s all really in their best interests, not mine

Always think positive with a Bronco!
With everyone ok....first!
Now, get an early Bronco frame throw it up under there with some 1-ton axles. Let's add some bigger turbos to wake that 3 cylinder up and have some real fun.

it is 100% totaled IMHO. it needs what, $15k in damages to total it. This is not even a question.

That may not hit the threshold before insurance companies total it. It would be interesting to find out what the insurance/lien holder does.
