Hmm. Noticed that the sticker .pdf date changed when built, then got notice that it was "shipped" on a Friday, then the .pdf date changed Tues AM. I'm starting to think that the .pdf date indicates something... or not. Ah well.

It does. The date at the very bottom, very last possible line in white background,….it just shows the last time a dealer or Ford looked at it.

Is there a way to track the BS now that it’s been shipped? I read a thread earlier but it seems to pertain to vehicles on a truck rather than those going by rail.

I’ve spent countless hours researching this….and not really no. You can try and you might be able to find the rail car number or freight company but it might lead to more frustration when you find out your car has been sitting in LA for two weeks doing nothing meanwhile you can’t get an answer from Ford as to when they’ll move it…

My point really is, yes, you can find a way to track it kinda but it could lead to more frustration as you see how your car is just sitting somewhere idle and you have no idea why or when it’ll move.

Apparently Ford is like God in a way, they work in mysterious ways….

How would you even find out the freight company???

Is the Ford tracking site not working for anyone else? When I put in my info it tries to load for like a second then just cycles back to the home page. Its been doing that on my phone for like a week but it started doing it on my desktop today too.

It's not working for me either. Even when I manually enter my order number and VIN.

Tracker has lousy code. Press control/shift/delete, then "clear cache". Then reopen browser...

There is but your dealer will have to provide you the railcar number your car is on. Also know that only tells you where that is, and it doesn’t tell you if your car has been loaded or unloaded from it.

Oh, that's easy - just find your nearest railroad track, and stick your ear on the rail. Ignore any loud horns or rushing sounds in the meantime...
