Engine Cover Avail in Phoenix

I recently picked up my 2025 BS BL Sasquatch. LOVE IT..!

I traded in my '22 Badlands, but removed the Engine cover first (I installed it 3yrs ago). My understanding is the 2024 & earlier Sport 2.0L engines may or may not have the fasteners pre-installed as an integral part of the engine build. Hat tip to DUDE by posting the the Part #'s and and prices of the fasteners (not sure if they are still avail).

My intent is to put my cover up for bid on eBay next Wednesday (May 21st, noon AZ time). I know it'll sell, but I just wanted to give my friends here on the forum heads-up. A person can install the cover in about 5mins with one eye tied behind their back. It's really that easy.

The following pics are of the cover and attach points: there is one securing bolt, and two over-center/lock push fasteners.

FYI … the necessary fasteners were not pre-installed on my ‘22 Badlands (fasteners had to be purchased separately from the engine cover), many early Bronco Sport 2.0L will not have these fasteners already installed (prices were accurate in 2022)

OEM cover discontinued and nothing found on Ebay motors, so I am going with the JCR Offroad cover. Local Michigan manufacturer and in stock, will update upon receipt.

*Just heard from JCR, cover was not in stock, next scheduled production run shipping in 8-10 business days

That JCR engine cover looks very nice. Do they make covers for the new 2025 engines???
The old covers are between 1-2" thick and made of high density foam: one benefit of this is (I believe) that engine noise is slightly muted....

JCR Offroad makes them for a number of engines. They are phosphated and powder coated aluminum covers, and come with needed brackets and fasteners.

I had one for my OBX 1.5L. I don't like that it's metal, but I may buy one for my 2.0L. I'll wait for it to have a discount which would entice me more. Maybe a Memorial Day sale.

I had the JRC cover on my 1.5L OBX and will buy another for my 2.0L. It kept the top of the engine cleaner and, under the hood looks nicer.
The JCR is not cool to the touch, which isn't a concern for me. I prefer an OEM cover but they are hard to find.

Unfortunately, so do the mice, makes a nice insulated roof for their home.
