So this thread (https://www.broncosportforum.com/forum/threads/bronco-stuck-up.13340/) got me thinking about something I've experienced in a lot of different realms, but mostly in cars.

Baader-Meinhof Phenomenon (or Frequency Illusion) refers to the cognitive bias where an individual notices something (a word, concept, product, etc.) more frequently after becoming aware of it. You just bought your new *insert make/model*, and within a week you suddenly notice them everywhere you go. You don't know if you're now part of the cool kids club, or just another lemming leaping off a cliff into a sea of generics.

So in your experience, once you started driving around in your new Bronco Sport, did you suddenly think you saw more, less, or about the same number of them than previously?

Didn’t see any in my area for several months after taking delivery of mine. Then, slowly, started seeing a few . . . then a few more. By 2023 they were springing up like rabbits (not the VW kind) and now I see Sports all over the place — actually more Sports and G6 (4) door Broncos which are becoming common-place.
Add-on: The only thing I notice more of (since they “stand out”) are Tesla’s, then again I’m in LA LA Land.

Off topic, I left LA (Montebello/East LA, specifically) in 1970. Don't miss it. Still, the places and names still come to me so easily.

I notice more full size and sports since having one. Same story when driving my Stang.

Those have to be the ugliest Vehicles ever made, you would have to be crazy to buy one especially for the prices of them.
They look weird and ugly in pictures and tv, but when I see them in person they look very cool. I would buy one in a minute if I had unlimited funds.

I notice vehicles like mine, especially when I buy a new one. I also notice things that are not ordinary, or a style that I like, such as my first car, a '68 Charger, or other classic cars. Or pretty girls . Didn't know it had a name :)

Nah, there is objectively more of them. When I first got it, they were rare as hen's teeth. Now I spot a half dozen on the average errands around town. I do think Cyber Orange is one of the two rarest colors. Saw one the other day, but I can go months without seeing another. Kodiak Brown is the other, not to be confused with the replacement color.

I see lots of BS’s now, but still don’t see many like mine (Carbonized Gray BL) so I still feel kinda’ special
