Anyone have experience removing the little plastic piece dealers usually put on the back of a vehicle? I would like to remove mine if I can without messing up the paint.

Some of them come off pretty easy since they haven’t been on that long. You can use fishing line then some goo gone or something like that. Mine only had a license plate frame, which came off when I got home, they aren’t paying me to advertise for them.

Lol yeah i had a plate on front, that on the back, and vinyl lettering on the back window also. Thanks for the info. If i use goo gone or something, i will try it in an inconspicuous place first.

use the fishing line first to pull the letters, incase that wasn't obvious, I've learned to take nothing for granted so it's not a personal judgement. Goo gone, a good spot is inside the rear hatch. I tested touch up paint, no risk. Good luck. Optimally, have the dealer remove it, as some have put it, unless they want to pay you $100/mo for advertising, most will have their guys do it.

I used wife's hairdryer on low setting in the past. Came right off.

That is criminal that they do that, it should be illegal. First thing i did was take the stupid dealer license plate border off. I can’t believe they affixed something to the Sport! How dare they desecrate the Sport!

Something slow
Fishing line or dental floss in a sawing motion will pop it right off but leave some residue. That'll come off with some WD40/Bug & Tar Remover and a plastic razor blade (or finger nail if you don't mind doing that).

I always tell them up front that if there are any dealer logos on my car at delivery I will not finish the sale. Twice I've waited while they removed it.
