Received these with my new Badlands but I won't have any need for them. Brand new in box, looking for $250 OBO. Located in Dexter, MI (~40 minutes east of Detroit), but should be able to deliver within the metro area. Prefer local sale but may be willing to ship at buyer's expense.
There is structure that the tow hook bolts into that does not exist on B/OB/BB. The hooks will bolt up to the bracket coming off the bumper beam, but without the rigid attachment in the rear they will not be strong enough to actually pull the vehicle out when stuck.
Fishing line or dental floss in a sawing motion will pop it right off but leave some residue. That'll come off with some WD40/Bug & Tar Remover and a plastic razor blade (or finger nail if you don't mind doing that).
There's extra bracketry that is welded on to the front structure of Badlands models. The rear threaded portion of the hook slides into that structure and is secured with a nut.
Sounds normal from my experience with S/S. Either the EPAS is powered with the alternator, or the ECU doesn't want to power it from the battery and risk dropping voltage too much to restart. You can always just let off the brake without letting the vehicle actually creep forward to get the...
+1 seems most people have been okay going to 245/65R17 as long as they don't also change wheel offset. The limiting factor to tire size is the A-pillar flange behind the front tires, and a lift will not help that clearance.
