I finally got a dash cam mounted to the Rubigrid mount.

Took John's suggestion on the dash cam and usb-c cable.

Bought the Vantrue E1 pro 4k. Liked the size, web support and good reviews.

Now the learning curve on setting up the features.

FYI, you'll need to disconnect your phone from CarPlay/Android Auto before you can connect to the camera to d/l clips & such.

No I didn't. Minimal weight, no arm or extended mount so no reason to do so.
