Really great information! I tend to agree on ordering what you want. I have a VIN on my custom build with a build week of 6 June. Really don’t think it is worth jumping on the one the dealer has now.

What happens to the table if you want the back seat folded down?

Also, it doesn’t sound like the 360+ has all the camers like a F150.

A breakdown of the various 360 options:

Honestly, I wouldn't order one without it - having the adaptive cruise control, the speed limit indicator, and the intelligent spacing stuff (with how far back you are behind another vehicle) is totally worth it.
This. I’ve found now cruise is no longer just for straight empty highways, it really can help manage your spacing in tight city traffic as well. Once you have it, you can always turn it off in the settings screen. But. You won’t. I wouldn’t order one without either after having it & using it now.

Oh nice, that’s a pretty short wait then.
& yes, if the F150 is like the explorer, there’s a front camera, rear camera, but somehow there’s side cameras as well to give you an overhead view in tight spaces. Really nice! I’ll miss that (& the front parking sensors) in the BS. But the BL has a front camera as well & of course the rear camera.

Torn between a BL that just came in and ordering exactly what I want.

Dealer ordered does not have moonroof, tow package, 360 Assist Plus and the 235/ 17" Carbonized Gray-Painted Low Gloss Aluminum Wheel and cargo management system.

Don’t get the $1000 ordering incentive.

It is however about $3K less.

Thoughts?
How much driving in traffic do you do? If this is your daily driver and you’ll be stuck in traffic, having ACC would be nice.

Only thing I regret on my build is not getting Co-pilot 360 assist+. There’s been more than a few times where I’ve been stuck on jams on lonely county highways where that would’ve been helpful.

The other person is right too. The F-150 has a better version available.

Can anyone confirm the OEM hitch can be added to a Badlands?

What you want is 6 weeks out to Build? I ordered 12/13 and don't have a build date yet.
Like Tall Timbers said, I'd go for what you want. With the recent price increase, my Dec build would be an additional $3K now. As to Cargo Management System, I'm sure you can buy some aftermarket bits n bags, but if you want the actual Ford system - to replicate if I recall is about $1K. Someone did a piece price out on the Forum, it involves new rear panels:

I have the Cargo Management System and am a fan - you can use it as a shelf, a divider, or a little table.

Some videos:

I'll note that it does slightly shrink the side to side space because it has the rails, but I think having it back there makes the rear cargo area easier to sort and manage.
When it is in the ”stored behind the seat” position, what happens when you put the back seats down? Is it still supported there or do you have to move it to one of the slots?

I believe you’d have to move it to one of the other slots, since it’s using the seat back as one of the braces for it - but let me double check!

It's available to order for the Badlands in the Ford accessories store for $440 installed (cheaper than when having it built). My understanding is the towing capacity is cut in half when installing after it's built.

That cargo management was the best 110 I spent on this vehicle. I didn’t opt for the 360 since I’ve been driving forever and didn’t feel it was worth the wait or risk for chips. But I have nothing against it. Seems like the best use case is heavy traffic and the adaptive cruise control. I probably could have used it yesterday!

Installing afterwards will not affect the towing capacity IMO. I’ve installed aftermarket hitches on my vehicles for 50 years now. Only issue is they tend to rust out sooner. I had one completely delaminate.

I would think the Ford OEM hitch would be fine if installed right. My problem is I don’t like the cut bumper and might have to replace with the bumper skin that has the cutout.

We’ve already seen some of those hack jobs. I mean fine workmanship.
