After a day or five on the dusty trails, a spot that I didn’t originally consider was the rear window lift glass and frame. Looking for something else entirely, opening it up I found a nice coating of fine dust around the struts, gaskets, bump stops, etc. Nothing major short term, but something that you can clean quickly with a damp cloth or wet wipe.

Nobody likes grit in their cracks and crevices!

I always wipe that area down when I wash the vehicle. It's the same thing around the door openings "outside" of the weatherstripping. Cheers!

I use a beefy air compressor with a long blow nozzle to get in the tailgate crevices, wiper areas, wheel wells and even in/around the engine compartment before pressure washing. Blowing off all that gritty stuff on the body itself helps prevent scratches in the clear coat. Finally, I never, ever use an automatic car wash: I always use a coin-operated stall with a wand unless I'm doing it at home...

I just got the @Wolfbox MF200 rechargeable blower, and it's a fairly impressive little unit. While certainly not as powerful as an air compressor, it's super handy for most needs, and small enough to keep in the car full time. Plus I can bring it in the house to clean keyboards, PC enclosures, blow out the toaster, etc., without dragging a hose through the house. If you're into woodworking, it's also useful for blowing down table saws, shop floors, workbenches, and so on.

Are ear plugs necessary when using the M200?

Does it get fairly warm/hot for typical uses?

What r your expectations for its run time (battery life) after you’ve had it for awhile (I know you just got it and batteries typical have shorter run times as they age), just looking for your expectations.

The motor is pretty quiet, the blowing air makes the most noise. The whine from the motor is pitched where you’d expect at 10,000 rpm or so

I haven’t noticed much if any heat, but I don’t run it for extended periods. I don’t think it would get uncomfortably hot, though.

The battery is removable, so you can easily have extras or replace once one won’t hold a charge more than a short while. I’d expect at least 30-60 minutes of intermittent use with no problem, USB-C recharge in 20-30 minutes.

Of course not! It’s a proprietary battery, $36 retail.
