Can someone tell me what this is?

I looked through the manual, but I can't find out what this is in the center of the overhead. Can anyone clue me in please?
I'm actually thinking about mounting the Trigger 6 controller (I haven't purchased it yet though) to the right of it right in the middle hoping it doesn't get in the way of the mirror, and also assuming that I can hit battery power up there without too much trouble.

This is on my 2023 Bronco Sport BL.

IIRC its to do with the auto-climate system. I believe there was a thread about it (can't remember what it was under) but I am pretty sure that was the answer

Or possibly for the auto dimmer on the rear view mirror.

So what’s up with the vents and then that eye in the middle? It doesn’t make sense yet.

Anyone ever put a Trigger mounted up there?

It the driver monitor. You can configure the system to alert if the driver gets drowsy. I believe this is a camera lens that watches the driver for signs of fatigue and\or inattention.

The back seat monitor is only activated if you open the rear door. No camera or kids required.

In the week I have owned this BSBL And while shopping it seems an early low mileage 2021 is a better buy. Mostly due to it has the little things FORD started removing due to supply issues, and hopefully any recall items are already taken care of. I wanted the engine cover because I regularly clean the engine compartment. I would rather have the scmutz collect there to be easily hosed off. End of month and end of year is a good time for dealers to negotiate those overly high prices to help the bottom line. Especially as the market is softening. I saw several between 5k and 20k with ok prices. Come February when my order arrives the market may be even softer for renegotiating if I decide to keep it.
