Have a look at this one, very rugged and fast charging/data transfers, comes 3 to a pack for the current price of $10, I have 6 of these for various uses - however they are 1’ long and reviews vary - they work very well for all of my applications

The cable I bought: UseBean USB C 90 Degree Cable... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CC59T7QX?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Can you verify a couple of things? With the camera mounted on the Rubigrid, is the power input on the left side of the camera?

Also, since I don't have access to ForScan to change the power delay off setting, where is the power on/off switch positioned on the camera as mounted? That's looks like the only option to shut it down, or unplug the usb-c cord every time for me.

Found a pretty good deal on the dash cam.

The website is great and looks like good product support.

If you mount it "upside down" on the supplied base to the Rubigrid, the power port is on the driver's side, making for a nearly direct path to the USB ports.

The power can be manually shut off using the orange button on the right side. If you leave the display on full time, it's just a long press until the splash screen displays and it shuts down.

On mine I've turned off the continuous screen display so the screen goes dark after about ten seconds while still recording, so it would be a quick press & release to bring the screen back up, then the long press & hold until the splash screen displays and it shuts down.

I should also note that if you just make a quick stop for only a few minutes and shut it down manually, you'll likely have to manually turn it on since there's still power to the port so it won't know to turn itself back on. If you have the car turned off long enough (like for grocery shopping/restaurant/etc.) it should come on of it's own accord. It's obvious when it powers up (orange splash screen and chime).

good find!

watching this thread carefully and waiting hopefully for a Father's Day sale from Bulletpoint, and probably either the Vantrue E1 Pro or E1 Lite (which is like $85 on Amazon but your NewEgg deal on the Pro is better...)

Keep watching Amazon on the E1 Pro, they've had it as low as $109 very recently. There's been five price changes in the last month alone. Memorial Day/Father's Day sales are probably a week away.

Thanks for the help. I like the small size, and it has all the features I need.

6" cord, correct?

$130 today. I'll keep watching. I prefer Amazon.

I've never ordered from Newegg but they do have free shipping. Not sure how much of an issue a return would be if needed.
