I bought the basic Bulletpoint Rubigrid dash mount for $50.

I installed it a couple of days ago. First off, this is a quality piece of gear for the price.

Easy to install. I decided not to drill the holes for the self tapping screws. I just used the 2 original mounting screws.

I'm sure this will be solid enough for my needs. I'm just mounting a small dash cam.

Now the process of finding a 4K dash cam that can invert the screen image. I'm don't need the rear cam.

Any suggestions on a camera?

I use a GoPro Hero 10 Black, and an Insta-360 Ace Pro 2 or something similar.

Does the Insta 360 use a usb-c for the power input?

I haven't done a lot of research on dash cams yet. Assuming most newer ones us a usb-c input on the camera.

Once I changed the accessory power delay, the Vantrue E1 Pro has turned out to be a decent choice.

The best that I can tell is this uses a usb-c input on the camera.

Same as the 2 power ports in the tray.

So you changed the time delay parameters with ForScan to shut off the power source after the engine is shut down?

Any idea how long it stays on when shut down without changing anything?

It is a USB-C, I suggest getting a 6” cable. That’ll keep the excess to a minimum.

I changed the delay to 30 seconds. Factory settings are 2700 seconds (45 minutes). I’d get an SD card error from overheating if I forgot to turn it off manually.

I was looking at a coiled usb-c cord. 1 foot is the shortest I can find. If that doesn't pan out, I'll find a 6" braided cord.

Did you get a right angle (90 degree) for the camera end?

Got a right-angle, but it wasn’t fitting on the cam end so I put the 90-degree portion in the power point and the straight end to the cam. Works out perfectly fine.
