I think the dog wants in next time! They like fun too.

edit: and I should think the lady gets to drive it next time too; her laughing was joyful

After several trips in deep snow, I'm still impressed with the BL's performance. My wife is not a car person but even she says it's a "beast" in the snow.

When we left the ski resort yesterday, 10" of snow had fallen and the plow had pushed another 6" behind the cars. The Subaru next to us was spinning tires and smoking the brakes while we just backed right through the bank and drove away. The neighborhood had enough powder on the road that we could hear it scraping the undercarriage, and we just cruised right along.

The AWD system is superior to the Subarus. I think TFL showed that on the rollers and the dude from Washington, who is a Subaru guy, noted that as well.

Didn't look like it was even a challenge for that BL made it look easy

Luckily the Badlands is good at getting sideways when you want.
You see all kinds of videos of its very distant cousin the Mustang when doing burnouts, donuts or sliding around ending up in a crash.

the Badlands is not easy to get sideways. The AWD system won’t let me act like a fool.

makes for a lame video

The Badlands will kick out the rear on soft surfaces. Snow, mud and sand. Hit the gas, add some speed and an open area.
Otherwise, you are correct, it won't.
