I was told by the dealership that rocks hit the windows too much on these vehicles and he recommended it. Thus, I read some threads here and some confirmed. As for keeping bugs off, I live in rural Illinois in corn fields and I have not run out of washer fluid. So I’d guess it’s doing something. Lastly, I like the design and do not find it annoying when driving, like some did on my trucks.
LOL, dealerships will lie to sell you anything.

Thanks for the response Horse n Buggy. I looked into the factory tow hooks, knowing that the brace is missing. While I like the aesthetic and don't plan on ever using them for their intended purpose, $300 is a lot for non functioning tow hooks. I may still go that route, but for now I'll put the wheel spacers on and call it finished. I haven't even made the first payment yet.

I’m excited to see the spacers. I have a feeling it’s going to look great. Any particular brand you’re looking at?

The spacers are Garage Line. I saw someone had them on another thread. They appear to be nice quality. The price wasn't bad, not super cheap but not as expensive as Bonoss. The Titan wheel spacers are currently unavailable or I probably would have gone with them.

Here is a question/comment for the 2023 Heritage owners (perhaps all 2023 bronco sport owners in general IDK):

With your 2023 Heritage locked, your keyfob in your pocket, and you walk up to the drivers side and hang out for a couple seconds without touching anything (including not touching the FordPass App), does your 2023 Heritage automatically unlock itself?

I'm 99.9% certain mine will not unlock by standing there. It's hard to tell since I have to put my hand trough the handle to test it. I'll try next time I go outside to see if I can open it just grabbing the outside of the handle.

Nope. I have to touch the door handle for the vehicle to unlock.

I have a 2023 Heritage Limited when I walk up with the key in my pocket not touching the car my wife was able to open the door. Yes it was locked.

Well if your wife opened the door while you are standing nearby with your keyfob in your pocket that works for any Bronco Sport that has the drivers door setup shown in the blue and red squares in this pic.

While you are in range of the bronco sport with your keyfob, anyone can walk up to the drivers door and it’ll unlock.

But that isn’t what I asked about in my post - which only Involved one person. If you have time, please have a look again at the question I asked but it’s ok if you don’t want to try what i asked about. ?

OK. I did the test with the right parameters this time. With the doors lock I walked up to the BS and hung out for 5 minutes without touching the Sport. It did not unlock.

@Tigger does the bug deflector actually work? My washer fluid budget is getting blown!

I wish that Ford put the thicker white stripe on the Limited's. It looks great on the standard Heritages.
I have one on mine and I drove with and without it, it makes a difference, I live in rural Texas in an area known for bugs, it's impossible to keep your windshield clean normally, but I haven't washed my windshield in weeks, and haven't used windshield wiper fluid, have had the car 5 months and haven't even gotten low

A perfect addition would be the very fitting script logo for the door that ScareCrow was kind enough to start a thread with this week.
I thought the least they could do for that considerable MSRP on the 1.5L Heritage would be to add those door plates on both Heritage models, but Ford couldn't find it within themselves to offer up that small piece of value and look considering how light they went on the other options inside the car.
