Knocked antenna off which put hole in roof of Bronco backing out of garage. Does anyone know if this is something a body shop can repair or if only dealership can?

Okay, thank you for the response.Yes, a body shop can repair that. Flatten the metal around the hole, install a doubler on the inside, then mount a new antenna to cover the ragged hole. You'll have to be very careful about sealing around the new antenna to prevent water intrusion.
How did you get it in the garage with no damage, but backing out did this? The antenna must have been hitting any time you parked inside. I thought the door had gone all the way and it hadn’t. It was my bad.How did you get it in the garage with no damage, but backing out did this? The antenna must have been hitting any time you parked inside. Just curious.
Does that antenna do anything else besides AM/FM/XM/Cellular?There are two stubby antenna choices a 4" and the 2" stubby junior.
The 4" interferes with a ski box if using low-profile crossbars.
But the 2" compromises signal reception.
Go to radio-locator.com to see a signal strength map based on your location.
Thom at Cravenspeed was helpful.
I ended up with both the 2" and 4" to swap out.
Why Ford uses such a primitive antenna design is beyond me.

I'd like to be able to keep navigation 100% ready but really don't need anything else.

I did the same with my ranger, went to dent doctor. He did a great job on it & all I needed was to have antenna reinstalled.Okay, thank you for the response.
