Batch #2402/#1166 et al. - BSs Stuck in Production

Hello Class #2402!!!

That appears to be the batch # for those of us stuck in production!

So if anyone else has been stuck “in production” this is our thread till they move on and out of the plant can post here!


I will start off:
Ordered 9/10
In Production week of 12/6
Produced Per Visibility Report on 12/10
No built or shipped notice. Still at factory

Same happened to me in 2020. BL went into production on December 2, 2020 and got stuck in shortage of moonroof and tow package parts. Unit didn’t leave plant till February 1, 2021.

Went into production of 12/21. My new estimated delivery date is 5/14. Ordered 9/29.

Well I finally got my "Built" email on my 2022MY Badlands, and now I'm just waiting on the "Shipped" email with an ETA to my dealer on March 8th.

I am happy to report that as of yesterday, 1/10/22, this vehicle is built!

And this vehicle was delivered yesterday!

A tale of two Broncos. The car on the left is my order sitting in the desert until at least 4/23/2022 on chip hold. The one on the right is sitting on a dealer lot for sale. The exact same colors and options as my order and rolled down the line 441 cars after mine. I'm trying to get my dealership to go get it for me.

Why can't you buy the one that is exactly what you ordered that is on dealer's lot? Actually, just saying..

It is NJ, not NY and I asked my salesman to get it because the NJ dealer slapped a $4K markup on it.

I don't think there's anything more depressing than watching people who ordered well after you get there's delivered while your delivery isn't expected for months.

May? That is crazy! Hoping they get supplied much sooner than that!

It’s not crazy, it’s normal. Mine was ordered in April 2021 and went into production in June. I’m picking it up tomorrow.

Yes agreed it very difficult. I went through that last year mine sat for several months while Ford built shipped new units. A lot of us around here understand we lived it. I tried to focus on other stuff in life, wasn't very successful, but I tried. The months roll by, one day after the next, then the day finally comes, its there waiting, the one you ordered, just the way you wanted it Was it worth the grief? For me yes. Hang in there.

I am also 2402 batch. I must say you guys are a lot more patient then I am. I ordered mine in January from a dealership in IL, they are suppose to ship it to me once they get it. Originally they told me it would arrive the last week of January! 1509/2402 is my #. I wish I had the details you all have, but I assume since I selected one they posted on the website is why I don't see the details. IDK. Every time I call they say "I hope it's on the truck that's arriving this week. Now this week they haven't called or text me back... I just would like some transparency on my BB. I put 20K down and would think there would be a bit more response. Silly me.
