"Auto Stop/Start not working" ... I found the solution/problem ... (in my case) ... too embarrassing to tell ... very stupid on my side ...
You don't have to say it, we know what you did...

I bit the bullet and purchased an auto start stop disabling kit. I dislike that feature so its stays off now.

I just plug in a small LED night light into the 110v and auto start/stop disabled, forever :).

What "kit" did you buy? If it's the $99.00 one, you overpaid. Simply turn it off when you enter the car by pressing the dash button.

The led light needs to draw enough current. Some don't. Some have an ambient light sensor so they don't activate in the day. Cover the sensor with tape.

I have the $99.00 one. In your opinion, I overpaid. In my opinion, It's totally worth it. To each his own. I won't bag on someone else's mods. The install is plug-n-play and I never even think about having to remember turn it off. If they made a plug-n-play unit for 2023 Highlander, I would do the same on it. Cheers!

The light came on but I guess it doesn’t want to work. But hey I do have a new nightlight for my BS, I can see the bottle opener better! Cheers!!

I can think of much better ways to spend the $99.00 bucks then for something that can be avoided by pressing another dash button.
