Is there a way to turn off the pseudo engine sound that is put out through the sound system? I have noticed that once I get above 70 mph the low end sound rumble gets increasingly louder. I want to shut off the fake sound to make sure there is not another issue with the car. I did change GOAT modes which didn't make any difference.

Engine noise and active noise cancelation is disabled here in the ACM. You need to disable ESE.

The whole fake V6 when accelerating is a bit silly, tbh. I grew up with “drive by ear”, and it’s throwing me off.

Thanks for the specific ACM line. I may just turn it off.

I figured out the noise. I put a roof light bar on last week. It is generating the low loud noise. I will get a noise cancelling baffle installed. Hopefully this will eliminate the noise.

What year is your vehicle? 2025?

on ‘21-‘24 the fake engine sound per a post from trex: “The audio system "engine enhancement" sound is piped through in the Sport, Normal, and also Sand, Mud & Ruts, and Rock Crawl G.O.A.T. modes. Nothing in Eco nor Slippery modes that I have observed.” And seems to be for the 2.0L models with the B&O Sound System per the link below.

Use FORScan to disable the sound

Thanks for the reply. It is a 2025. The noise is from the new light bar installed last week.
