I read something about off-road roof racks, but can't remember what thread it was in. Are there different types of roof racks on the Bronco Sports?

Yes, the Badlands and First Edition were different. Sounds like the 2025’s are different as well.

@Escape2Bronco and I are assuming you mean the variations in the OEM crossbars that you can purchase, and other 3rd party rails that attach the same way. These are Trim specific.

The difference is in the rails on the various trims. It only matters it you are buying crossbars that are going to attach/clamp to the rails using the little slots on the underside of the rails. If you buy a crossbar that uses universal feet you can buy whichever brand you'd like.

Yes, that's what I mean. Your answer is a big help.

I do know that the JCR rack does NOT fit the ‘25’s. Shame, that was the only one I was actually considering.

I fitted Thule AeroBlades with kayak racks on our 2014 Cherokee. I was hoping Thule made Aeroblades for the Bronco Sport so I could continue using our kayak racks, but it looks like they replaced the Aeroblades with a new Wingbar.

I'm confused here. Why don't you just buy a universal foot for your blades and put them on your BS?

I don't think I can reuse the AeroBlades because they are asymmetrical sizes, the front is longer than the rear. I haven't measured the Bronco Sport, but I doubt they are the same length. I was hoping I would just have to buy the blades and reuse the racks.
