I want to genuinely thank each and every one of you for your technical expertise, camaraderie, and friendship over the past 2 years. I bought a new vehicle this past week - The car I've dreamed of since seeing it for the first time during a 2021 Superbowl commercial. Meet my new ride. 2023 4-door Bronco Badlands with high package, hard top, and modular bumper. I haven't stopped smiling for 2 days. My Sport was an incredible vehicle that served me well, but after getting behind the wheel of my new Bronco, I feel like I've been driving it my whole life! It's a huge move up in the world (both in terms of features and capability) and if any of you are thinking about trading up and are able to swing the finances, I highly recommend it. Please hit me up on the Bronco6g forum if you ever want to reconnect! Thank you so much again for being such wonderful people. See you out on the trails!

I would love a full size Bronco instead of my Sport. Just can’t accept the poor mileage. Same engine as the Ranger which is rated at 24 mpg in 4x4. I could live with that. Guessing it’s in the gearing and such. Incidentally, I have a 2011 Ranger 2wd, automatic, 4 banger and is only rated at 24 mpg highway. That’s a good engine, but not as sophisticated as what is out there now. That was probably good mileage back in the day.

Congratulations! You're going to love it! Stop by and update us with adventure pics every now and then.

I wish I lived closer to where I can utilize my BS a little more. If anything, I think I'd upgrade to a Badlands. But that's a couple of years off.

The MPG is less but i cant imagine being in a position where id be that tight that the MPG would sway me to NOT purchase what i want.

Shame to see a Velocity Blue owner leave the forum but congratulations on the new ride! Its been a joy following your build and I’m sure you will have a blast modifying your new rig. Sure seems easier to find parts for them

Congratulations on your new vehicular adventure! And thank you for all of your positive input and valuable information on the forum. I'd love a big Bronco myself as that was my original preference but I'm now more grateful than ever with my BSBL now that I'm transporting my elderly parents (Dad getting Chemo every three weeks and Mom with 2 hip replacements) into Boston and I can't imagine them climbing up into their seats of the big Bronco whenever I have to drive them anywhere. Hopefully you don't have to go through similar challenges. So have a GREAT time with your new toy and good luck with everything.

X2 my mom is 82 and says my BSBB is very easy to get in and out of .Much easier than my sisters 2016 Buick Regal that my mom says sits to low.

Awesome all the best with your new full size! Looks like quite the upgrade. Enjoy! Of course that doesn’t mean you can’t still hang around here.

Looks like my Sport sold, so keep an eye out for a new forum member or maybe someone will see ol' Velocity Blue cruising around NC. Best wishes to whoever bought my wonderful Badlands! I loved it dearly!
