The 2027 Bronco Sport order banks opened today and the order guides are out. I can't post the pages because they are proprietary to Ford but here are some of the changes on page 1 and 2. I will be doing a video on all the changes Wednesday night and we will discuss it on Tuesday night's livestream on the Long McArthur YouTube channel,

Trims: Big Bend, Heritage, Outer Banks, Badlands
Removed Auto Start/Stop
Standard Big Bend Wheel is a 17" Black Steel Wheel, Carb Gray High Gloss Aluminum Wheel is optional
New Colors: Glacier Gray Tri-Coat, Gladwin Green, Neptune Blue
Deleted Colors: Azure Gray Tri-Coat, Carbonized Gray, Space White
New Cloth Seating Material on Big Bend
Removed Rear under seat storage on Badlands
Removed Rear Center Armrest from Standard Big Bend
Removed Adjustable Liftgate Flood Lights from Heritage, Outer Banks, and Badlands Standard Equipment
New Heritage Tech Package
New Black Appearance Package on Outer Banks
New Camping Package on Outer Banks and Badlands
New Interior Protection Package on Badlands

There are a bunch of changes to packages but some of those were changes at job 2 in 2026 model year.

I know that a lot of people have strong opinions on the subject, but why would they remove auto start/stop?

You can't ask that question without invoking those strong opinions.

Bottom line: common sense won. All those people lecturing us on how ASS helps reduce emissions have never produced any solid evidence that the benefit outweighs cost, inconvenience, reliability problems, increased complexity, starter wear, engine stress due to increase in heat cycles and (obvious) frustration to actual drivers in every day use.

Outside the use of interpretive dance, I'm not sure the legion of related problems could ever be explained to ASS proponents.

…but why would they remove auto start/stop?
I think Ford’s decision to remove Auto Start-Stop from the Bronco Sport is primarily financial. With the regulatory incentives gone, there’s less reason to keep installing a system that reportedly adds $300–$400 to the cost of each vehicle. It allegedly saves some fuel and emissions, but arguably not enough to justify the added complexity and wear. From Ford’s perspective, eliminating a few hundred dollars in cost per vehicle—especially for a feature few buyers will miss—is an easy business decision.

Does not fit Bronco Sport
Let me go back and search. I did not have it saved. Plus I do not know why Amazon suggest crap that doesn’t fit when you submit which vehicle you have. What a pain in the arse!

Nope can’t find it. Obviously wrong. Everytime I verify my vehicle it gives me the same recommendation for a regular bronco.
