I printed my favorite shot from a desert trail run and added it to my digital frame from www.nixplay.com—it loops alongside other trips and always makes me want to plan the next one. I didn't think I'd care much for digital frames, but it's pretty cool seeing all the Bronco Sport adventures pop up without having to mess with prints or albums.

It was only in the mid-80s here today, so I took a little trip and hit the closest trail to me. Maybe more like a windy dirt road with some ruts, rocks, and a few washed-out areas. I guess at 1 point I did unintentionally venture off the trail into a sandy creek bed....lol

There was a nice rutted out steep incline directly in front of me, but I chose not to attempt is as I was alone on the trail. Not even a critter in sight.

I climbed partially up it to get a better shot when I noticed I was only on 3 wheels.....lol

I didn't even realize I was on 3 wheels when I got out to take some photos. I wanted a 3 wheel
photo, but thought I'd have to stage it. I really wanted to attempt that hill, but didn't want to
risk it as it was rutted out and lots of loose gravel. I'm leaning towards it was doable.

If you’re going solo, you should always have recovery and repair gear and radio at the least. Can’t count on AAA or even cell service in a lot of areas.

I guess being retired, not a people person who likes to do things during the week, while everybody else is at work, has its drawbacks....lol

I'm in the process of putting together a recovery/repair/survival kit to keep in the Badlands when I go out on adventures. I'll be sticking to mostly easier trails, but I would like to try some doable, yet challenging obstacles from time to time.
