So, either I got a killer deal back in ’21 or the BL has become gold.
I think late 2021 was the last time these vehicles were worth the cost. Since then, dealer and manufacturer markups have priced the cars out of my personal price/performance equation.

Sticker price on my '21 went from $39,200 in March '21 to $39,700 in June when window sticker was generated. Pretty sure Ford had more price increases within the '21 model year too. Then mid year 2021 stopped taking any new Badlands orders until the '22 order banks opened up. Very hard to get a Badlands Sport in the first year wasn't easy.

And lets not forget about de contenting Ford did to the '22s...

Ford had a MAJOR success with the Sport, many sold above window sticker early on, and Ford cashed in on their success.....

That Sasquatch package is very tempting! Too bad they got rid of the overhead sunglasses holder (it's listed as deleted, but not sure if it's replaced by anything). And not having buttons for the climate control with the Sync4 is discouraging. Will definitely have to see one in person before I'd be willing to order it!
I wonder if the Badlands maintains the rear seat under seat storage.
I asked that question on the Long McArthur Live stream Tuesday evening, and the response was that since the deletion wasn't mentioned in the Order Guide, that the host thought it was still there in the 2025. That doesn't satisfy me, since Ford is historically hush hush on the deletions on previous model years. I think eventually the under seat storage on the Badlands will go away, as that is the likely location for a hybrid battery. And if it is already deleted, I think that a hybrid version may still be offered for a later introduction in the 2025 Model Year. Ford splits up production into 2 Jobs, when they can change production options/features partway through the model year. Initial production is called Job 1, and a later change called Job 2, not necessarily split halfway through the production's calendar year.

Bronco Bolts and auxiliary switches...easy to add lights to the front ect. Will be fun to see auto publications off road it and evaluate it.
A lot of things now standard on Badlands: Co Pilot 360 Assist Plus, 360 camera, tow package, leather seats MSRP with destination around 41k. Its pricey but most all new vehicles these days very expensive.

Unless I am missing something, I see no trailer tow package. On the current 2025 Build and Price it comes standard on Badlands and Black Diamond packages, but not as a stand alone option.

The sunglass holder is replaced by four accessory switches in the same place for aftermarket options with the Sasquatch and Black Diamond packages.

Very happy to see Velocity Blue make a return! Disappointed to see no Hybrid option, as well as the discontinuation of the faux steelies. Sync 4 looks nice however still not sure about the removal of the physical climate controls but I was expecting that. It does help that they're at at least always visible on the bottom of the screen so I'll have to try it out first see how I feel.

I too am confused as well by the tow package; is it no longer a standalone option? If that's the case thats frankly really dumb.

I drove a newly redesigned 2025 Chevy Equinox the other day and was really impressed what they did with it, huge leap from the current crop of GM SUV options which I've never really liked honestly. I like the Activ trim which is supposed to be a more "rugged" trim even though it's just beefier tires and a small lift outside of some cosmetics (not like I offroad in my BS anyway). I get GM Employee pricing from my family but I'll also be getting some personal incentives from Ford the closer I get to my lease end, so it'll be down to who gives me the better deal.

One the first page of Product Changes, it says,
"New
Class II Trailer Tow Package with Trailer Sway Control is
Standard on Badlands series"

So if I just want a plain Outer Banks I can’t get the tow package? That would make no sense to have a utility vehicle like this and not offer a tow package across the whole line.

When I look at the Build and Price, it does look like you can't get the Tow option on the OBX unless you opt for the Sasquatch Package (Add $5535 USD).

For the Big Bend, it looks like one would have to add the Black Diamond Off Road Package to get the tow hitch.
Ford's way of raising prices...customer wants one particular feature and make them buy a package of features whether they want them or not. For 2024, I would have liked a moonroof, but it required adding the Premium Package which added their fake leather (ActiveX, IOW a synthetic like vinyl) seating, among other features that I was indifferent to.
I wanted cloth seats, so no moonroof for me.
Edit: Other than that, I am pleased with my '24 Badlands as I configured it!
