Just bought a new 2024 Bronco Sport Big Bend, as I had been missing my 2021 Bronco Sport that I traded in last year. One of the features that I really liked on the 2021 was the cornering lights that activated at night as you turned the steering wheel. As I was looking at a new 2024 Bronco Sport, I made sure that it had the fog lights so that I would again have the cornering light feature that I liked. I drove it the other night for the first time only to be disappointed to find that the cornering lights did not work. I was only able to turn the fog lights on with the headlight switch. So, is there a way to activate the cornering light feature somehow? If I had access to a Forscan tool, would that allow me to activate the cornering lights? Please, any help would be appreciated!

I believe it's in the body control module you can scroll down to fog lights and chose to enable as fog light and cornering. Write and cycle car power. It should have been set that way but someone probably turned that feature off. I don't like the feature and enabled my fogs as drl so they're always on in auto mode.
You can also set them to be able to stay on with highbeams

All kinds of stuff in there. I stay away from the as built sections. No reason to complicate things.

Auto high beam ramping is super cool too

Genuine question, could you just ask the dealership to enable it if it’s accessible in forscan?

probably depends on the dealership. i would think most likely they would. but you also wont have your car all day either. i suck at computers and was still able to figure out how to get the program running on my laptop. only takes a $60 cable on amazon and 2 minutes in the program plus you'll have a diagnostic tool with it as well. if anyone was near me id be happy to do it for you.

Has anyone successfully activated the cornering lamps on their 2024 BS in Forscan?

I had my dealer look into this and the technician investigating the issue said the module doesn’t appear at all. Not sure if the technician was looking at Forscan or MS-can when searching for the module.

The Service Manager was stumped by this and agreed that our BL should have them since the 2024 Owner’s Manual refers to them. Previous year’s Owner’s Manuals referred to Cornering Lamps (if equipped) but the 2024 Manual does not have this language. The issue was escalated to FMC through Technical Support Request 120693905 and the CTAC responded with:

“The corner lamp feature was removed for the Bronco Sport from the 2023.5 MY+5MY+. A RAP case was submitted, so the WSM got updated to remove the cornering lamp verbiage, but the owner’s manual didn’t get updated. So, this vehicle is not equipped with cornering lamps.”

So again, my question is, has anyone successfully activated the Cornering Lamps on their 2024 BS using Forscan?

Thank you Kijor for the information that you provided. I'm still hoping to find a way to activate the cornering lights feature. I find it hard to believe that FMC would do away with such a useful feature.

We just had the first meaningful fog since ownership, for my truck too and needed to adjust those. Came here to see if the procedure for adjusting them on the BS was noted but turns out, the BS fogs are set properly from the factory.

It does not have the cornering feature though, which I really like on my truck.
