I would stick with the 235s I got the falkens with my Badlands with the 235/65/17 stock cuz for $555 or whatever it was you can't beat that price especially right now, and I met a guy with a badlands that did the bigger 245s and it affected his miles per gallon by a decent margin I think he said like two MPG although he did say that he put a lift on his and I don't remember if it was one inch or one and a half or whatever so that could have also affected it but he also said he was only getting like 18 miles per gallon anyways after the tire swap so he's driving pretty aggressively because I've only had mine for a hundred miles so far but I'm averaging 26 my MPG but I do drive about 70% highway and he had said that you can feel the difference in the tires and I haven't had anything but falkens on mine but I can't tell that I'm driving on all-terrain tires at all and I had a 2014 escape all wheel drive that I put not the falcon at3ws on but they were falcon 80 trails they're a little less aggressive and I definitely could tell a difference with those and I would highly recommend the falcon at3ws I've had a couple different all-terrain tires and I still go back to the falcons they're the best all terrains in every category and they're one of the few all-terrains that actually does pretty good in mud and snow and they last forever I had 30,000 miles on one of my cars with them before the engine blew and they still looked almost brand new. I will say with the smaller sizes the sidewalls on the falkens really do seem a lot dinkier I swear on my other three sets I've had on other cars the side walls stuck out and were a lot bigger. Basically what it comes sounding with me is unless you're taking this thing off-road a lot I think the benefit would go more towards the smaller sides tires and MPG and having a better ride for the small increase you might get in off-roading cuz you're only going up like what a quarter of an inch and the width is probably even smaller increase than that.
Iโ€™m still getting 23-26 mpg. With 245s and a lift. All depends on how you drive.

I'm in El Paso as well... where did you have your lift kit installed? And cost...? I'm still not sure if I want/need to go that way since I bought the Badlands and already have (at least) that additional 1 inch lift over other Sports. I have the original Pirellis 225/65/17s and before upgrading to some KO2's need to decide between 245s or stick with 235s... Yes 1 st world problems!

I just had mine done. 1 1/2โ€ lift and went with the 245s. I loveโ€˜em. I have the Badlands edition

too and thinking I should have gone with the 1โ€ lift instead. Oh well, I still love it. Canโ€™t wait to get it out on a trail. Newbie here, to trails; beside Army vehicle cross country four wheeling. Sorry for the yellow lighting.

Looks like Iโ€™ll loose a couple of miles on my MPGs but the trade for the look is worth it in my book. It has just the right amount of aggressiveness. Still getting much better gas mileage than I was on my 2019 Chevy Silverado.

Added the rack bars that came with it today. 07/17/22

My wife is so impressed with the looks and the way it handles, she is going to look at a cactus gray Outer Banks tomorrow. Sheโ€™s currently driving a 2017 Landrover Discovery.

I thought the HRG lift for the Badlands was 1.25? Is that the lift you went with?

Just threw my 245/65/17 KO2โ€™s on and truly couldnโ€™t be happier! 0% rub at full lock, 100% fun. I canโ€™t speak fit non badlands trims, but you should be fine at that size for sure

I got the lift done at ORW Off Road Warehouse. Part # ROU 40100 1.5 inch lift kit for $249.95
Interesting, thatโ€™s the same number for the rough country lift but they say itโ€™s not applicable for the Badlands or First Edition.

We have the HRG 1.5" Lift as well as some 255/55 r 18 KO2 tires. We also had until yesterday a set of 2" wheel spacers to give it a more aggressive stance. Long story short.... we had about 17MPG with the spacers on. 10K plus miles later i removed the wheel spacers and re-gained 2 mpg. I also noticed the ride quality is 100% times better then with the spacers. So the moral to what I have learned is that the wheel spacers worked great to make it look good but did it really give me any functionality?? I feel this is a hard no and will not be adding them back on. Just wanted to share my opinion on this and i will be posting some more info on our Youtube channel on the changes we made and why. This is one of the topics.

You didnโ€™t have any rub with that setup?

Yes it rubbed bad when you turned hard. As long as you didnโ€™t turn super hard your good.

If that is so, can you tell me where you got the info from?

Now I just found a site that says this part custom fits the 2022 Badlands.

My understanding is because the Badlands already is lifted 1 inch, adding another 1-1/2 is too much for the drive system. If you look, most sites only recommend 1-1/4 for the Badlands.

Thanks man! I hadnโ€™t heard of Fifteen52 before bronco, but couldnโ€™t be happier with their wheels! I was afraid They would make it look like I was trying to build out a Subaru, but I feel like Iโ€™m building a rally car!
