Thanks for following. We are trying to show people that most vehicles are capable of doing what you want with little to no modifications depending on your wants.
We have the Hobbs Off-Road rack (not sure if they are even still making it). We were helping Hobbs with this rack and love it. This rack fits to the vehicle without having to remove anything, bolts right to the roof and give us the ability to store our recovery gear and some tools on top, as...
We pull our custom off road trailer we built. Our sport handles this just fine. MPG will matter depending on wind and conditions. We usually keep it around 65-70 to get the best MPG's at 17mpg.
I am not 100% done with this yet but am close and really wanted to share this with everyone. We will have a video coming out here soon that will talk about how i built this and what i used to build it. My everyday job is a networking administrator and work a lot with servers, switches and other...
We have the HRG 1.5" Lift as well as some 255/55 r 18 KO2 tires. We also had until yesterday a set of 2" wheel spacers to give it a more aggressive stance. Long story short.... we had about 17MPG with the spacers on. 10K plus miles later i removed the wheel spacers and re-gained 2 mpg. I...
We decided to test out our OBX in the mud and see how it would do. Well it did great. I know it wasn't an extreme trail but from some of the bigger mud ruts it got through them just fine. Has anyone else taken thiers through the mud yet?
These ditch light brackets work way better then the cheezy clamp style brackets we had on the hood. HRG is developing a lot of accessories for the Sport. These are way more stable and give you ability to adjust them without the fear of the light pod coming off the hood. I was always checking...
I am always getting asked who made my rack for StarGazer. Hobbs Off-Road is the company and they did a great job at keeping it sleek and giving it the look it should be there from factory.
We bought the Wilco High Clearance Tire Gate. it works good gives us the spare tire as well as some extra fuel for the trails. It does block the camera and backup sensors. So if this is something you can live with then your good, if not then a rack on the rear will not work for you. Most...
I use 93 premiunm on ours. the last 2 trips we went out i switched to 93 and noticed a huge differenece in pulling our trailer and performance and MPG's. For what is is worth the premium does help with adjusting the timing and hp for the mountains. Just my 2 cents.
