Just wanted to post some pics of a Dometic CFX3 25 in a Bronco Sport and how it can fit in a more concealed position. The first two photos are behind the passenger seat, with the second photo showing the clearance for the plug. The last two photos are in the front passenger footwell, again with...
You can log your oil changes in the Ford Pass App. Go to Service (bottom of screen), then go to Service History, then go to Record. There you can record your own services.
Thanks for this. I've been wondering why my trickle charging has only been effectively "charging" my battery for a day's worth of charge.
If I'm understanding this correctly, I should be putting my negative clamp where the Green markers in the photo are? I've been putting them directly on the...
I appreciate your (and everyone's) personal experience. The more data we have, the better we all are.
The same master Ford tech that I linked in the video on my first post mentions that the manufacturer recommendations in the manual are the minimum requirements, which is in alignment with your...
I did my first oil change at 2,703 miles yesterday on my '22 Badlands and I wanted to share my takeaway after doing my own oil change.
Firstly, if you do NOT do highway driving frequently, seriously consider doing oil changes at a lower mileage or time interval. This applies to the 1.5L and...
Posting for reference.
Mods/Additions so far:
- Toyo Open Country AT3, 235/65r17
- Yakima LockNLoad Platform B, with Rail Kit (since removed front Rail to reduce noise)
- 20% Tint on Front Windows to match back windows
2 months of ownership and still loving it. Great for hauling 2 husky dogs...
I have very few miles on them right now, so I cannot really comment on MPG change. From all the reviews I read on these specific tires, I expect to see a 1-2 mpg loss. That is pretty typical for AT tires.
Replaced the stock Pirelli Scorpions with Toyo Open Country AT3s, 235/65r17. Too few miles to have a developed opinion on them, but so far, the ride is better overall. Small bumps are less noticeable (softer compound, larger size). There is a slight squirm when changing lanes at highway speeds...
Here's another shot on of the TOYO OC AT3s in the 235/65r17 size. Just so you can see. As mentioned by others, the road noise is the same or less than the stock Pirelli Scorpions, ride feels better overall, minus the slight squirm you get from AT tires but that's expected. The weight of each...
Thanks for this review. I am excited for my May delivery! I also got some furry friends that will be enjoying the BS with me.
I wanted to ask about the effect on MPG with just the lock n load platform attached. I live in an apartment right and won't have much space to store it, so it will...
Haha...my life can't fit 8 huskies! Glad the BS can handle it. Definitely agree with the back row needing to be down. We have a Crosstrek as well, but when we went on a day trip, it was really cramped in there for them with just some snow gear. The curved down roof of the car reduces the overall...
If you don't mind me asking, how large are your larger dogs in that photo? I have two huskies (40 and 60 lbs) and am trying to gauge if the space in the BS will be good for them. Thanks in advance!
I highly recommend Griots Glass Sealant. Applied a coat in the Fall before the winter rains came in the PNW and it is still holding up really well. A little goes a long ways for this fluid, meaning you don't need to apply much for an effective coat.
