Hi all,
I guess some of you got their BS without the engine cover ... not a mistake, but they simply stopped including it. For the ones who got it after complaining or ordering it separately, the installation can be confusing. Here are some tips and instructions that are simply not mentioned...
After getting through all the trouble getting one (4 month wait) seeing another one on the road, I flash the lights, wave, even roll down the window and say: "Nice car you have there! :) and always get response. And yes, I park beside one... just because all these people must have gone through...
I had the same thought before purchase. I've got the 2021 Outer Banks and I'm glad I did! 200 hp is way enough and accelerates fantastic! If you are not a devoted off-roader the OB is way better and has features the Badlands lacks. Never a doubt about 3 cylinders!! For what you describe ... get...
Hard to say what's the problem ...??? You must be extremally tall (or short??) (Kong...?) ... unclear ... and, btw, my instrument panel does NOT look like this at all!! 2021 Outer Banks ... different design.
Anyways ... for sure not the manufacturer's fault...works for pretty much everybody else...
Thanks all, for your suggestions.
The Hekas are exactly the same but under a different name ... which I'm looking at.
As one of you mentioned ... they didn't fit ... yes ... NOT on 2022 OB!! Most of them clearly mention that ... and not on BadLands either.
I think I'm going to go with the ones...
So, I used the supplied jack, which works btw great, and lifted one tire after other up, put some gravel in the rut ... and out she rolled!! Thanks for the tip!!!!
Btw - if ever in a situation where stuck ... turn OFF the traction control ... will give you the real 4-wheel drive.
Surprisingly close - here is a pick of my 2021 Outer Banks in, I think it was called, "Rapid Red".
I'm a photographer, shoot in RAW format and have a colour-managed workflow. But, as always, when published to the net, converted to sRGB, colours might change a bit. On top of that, what you see on...
did all the chiseling. To no avail since the tires sit also on an earlier ice layer. This is so embarrassing and stupid. I should have thought about that and will make drainage and higher level of shelter floor for next winter as soon as the ice is gone.
PS: the whole "BB can't be flat-towed" is of course a separate story since, if someone would tow me out of the ice holes, I would be at the wheel of my BB, engine on, in D, and lightly engaging.
So it's only a "finding proper tow points" issue

Hi All!
I have a problem and need your help.
My shelter filled with 6" of melt run-off and froze. Now my Bronco sits in these 4 depressions with its wheels. Its loose/wheels spinning, but can't get out.
All I need is a 12" pull to get out of the depressions that formed around the tires and get...
Hi There!
I first ordered with a small local dealer ... bad! No action. I cancelled and went to a large dealership. They had already ordered certain models/packages/colours on their own behalf, knowing they sell like hotcakes... and could offer me exactly what I wanted ... so the car was already...
Never signed up for it! At the dealer ship the sales person was going to do it but I couldn't remember my phone password - thank dog! What is it good for anyways ? ... to look up your tire pressure when you are in bed? ... all nonsense!!
Hello,
without reading all other replies ... don't pay too much attention to certain opinions on YouTube. There are always some that categorically hate or love everything about a certain brand, by principle. Kilmer is especially a loud-mouth living in the past. Just look at his pigsty shad...
Cannot think of anything bad - best vehicle I ever had! Love that the shifter stick is gone.
What is it good for anyways if you don't have a manual transmission. The only thing I can think of is the wait and (so far) no rout through the grill for the block heater cord. I'm actually surprised...
Hi All,
does anyone have already ordered/installed roof crossbars - other than original Ford part? (which stick up very high)
My main purpose is carrying a canoe.
I want to avoid costly Thule, Rhino, etc ... and also don't like the width of universal bars sticking out beyond the rails.
I'm...
