Guess not. Lots of local sprts here are on 550 am .I guess that will be it for sports while out driving. Same with local news. Just seams Ford is cheap. Removing the am from radios, hood insulation, engine covers etc. Notice that they never lower the price. Just extra $$ in their pockets.
That's super. I've noticed that the ACTUAL MPG ( hand calculated) is less than the on board computer calculation. The fact that it has a 16 gallon tank gives it an outstanding range of nearly 500 miles.
My basic 3 are mOrons who do 28 in the 40 MPH zone. I diots driving while looking down between their legs and the fact that, even in this modern age, there are so many freakin cars WITHOUT turn signals. Just amazing.
As others here have indicated I've been curious as to the actual MPG I would get with the 3 banger on decent size trip. To say I am quite pleased is putting it mildly. We left Buffalo and headed to Syracuse in the NYS Thruway ( I90) then North on I81 to Watertown. I locked in the speed at 72mph...
LOL You must be fairly young. Ever hear of the Chrysler "Bullet proof" slant 6 ? Chrysler had that engine for 40+ YEARS. People would run it short 3 qts of oil and she'd still just keep motoring. Google it !.
Thanks David. Sorry to hear this. Yeah if they're discontinuing the hood insulation and engine cover I guess they are NOT throwing in something free. Sad
Nope. I measured the cargo area behind the back seats and it was EXACTLY the same as my Jeep Pat. In fact the Weather Techs from my Jeep fit perfectly in the BS. That being the case I never really thought too much about the back seats until we picked up friends to go with us. Lesson learned...
That's good. Since we go out with other couples from time to time we either follow them or we go in their car since the back seats in the BS are so small and uncomfortble for normal adults.
