  1. New service department hours - maybe due to all the recalls

Your reasoning about the recalls I think is spot on. Good Lord I just went in for "The works "and the seat belt recall, Service advisor told me there were 2 additional recalls I didn't even know about. 🤬
  2. Veteran's Thought: Which Vehicle Would You Choose Besides Bronco?

The 2 Jeeps I speciffically mentioned were older Jeeps.
  3. Veteran's Thought: Which Vehicle Would You Choose Besides Bronco?

Easy call for me. JEEP !!! Anyone tho I'd love an older Jeep Cherokee Sport say 2001 or a Comanche pick up. Doesn't get more Patriotic than a Jeep !
  4. Need a Ceramic Brake Pad Recommendation, 4/rear

Yes I highly recomend the Powerstop ceramic pads. I coupled them with Powerstop slotted and drilled rotors on all 4 wheels of my 06 PT Cruiser Route 66 Edition. Combined with the standard yellow calipers they look great at car shows plus they still stop on a dime after 8 years on the PT. Even my...
  5. Add Auto-wipers?

Thanks Dude. I can easily see people forgetting to doing that, ESPECILLY my wife. :curse:
  6. Add Auto-wipers?

I"ve been wondering about this with my 22 BSBB which does NOT have them , What happens in those automatic car washes ? I"d hate to see the blades get ripped off by the brushes mid wash.
  7. Oil Life Percentage

I totally ignore it. My wife had a 2014 Malibu. At 1300 miles it was down to 5%. That was it for me. GM gimmick to get you in the shop. Oil and WIX filter every every 5000 miles for me. . Used to do 3500 but these new oils are so much better. Just took my 22 BSBB in for The Works on Tuesday...
  8. Prime Day Purchases?!?!!

  9. [RECALL] 25V46 (NHTSA) / 25S76 (Ford) - Fuel Injectors MY21-24 1.5L I3 Engine

Darn it, so sorry. I already tossed the letter since it was useless. I'll get another letter when they finally have the parts in.
  10. [RECALL] 25V46 (NHTSA) / 25S76 (Ford) - Fuel Injectors MY21-24 1.5L I3 Engine

Joy of Joy. Just got my recall letter in the mail today. :(
  11. Need Forums Advice 1.5 vs 2.0

I REALLY love that sport mode. One of the main drags here cuts down from 2 to 1 lane right at a stop light. I'm always in the left lane knowing this. From time to time I get some pickup pull up to my right looking to punch it and cut me off. I just casually put it in Sport mode and punch it the...
  12. Need Forums Advice 1.5 vs 2.0

Now THIS totally makes sense. Thank you.
  13. Need Forums Advice 1.5 vs 2.0

Hi, I currently own a 2022 BSBB with 18 K on it and the 1.5 L. I'm considering a 2024 BSBL, from a Chevy dealer, with only 3800 mikes on it. It was a former lease. I love the MPG with my 1.5 and the power in Sport mode. I just don't trust the 3 banger , especially with all the recalls and...
  14. Air Filter Housing Grommet

Finding tools left by a tech is a good thing. Adds to your tool box. I learned from losing tools in my younger days to make a last focused sweep before i close the hood.
  15. Duralube

On a newer engine with today's modern oils I can't see myself adding any additives just yet. Waste of $$ IMO. Use to use STP back in the day but then again ALL of us did.

    Please do.
  17. Something to be VERY happy about...

When they replaced my OE battery last week with the new AGM I watched as he had to remove the air cleaner assembly just to get to it. Took awhile.
  18. After the battery recall

    Or not .
  19. After the battery recall

My OE battery on my 22 BSBB (17,500 miles) was functioning fine. Not a hint of a problem but hell if Fords willing to upgrade me to a AGM for free i'll take it. l had them come to the house with Fords mobile sevice. Right in the driveway. Can of corn . 1/2 hr and it was done. That included the...
