    I only plan on keeping mine till the warranty is off. For me, as of now, this BS is NOT a keeper. Things could change depending on what else is available out there at the time. I had my last Jeep for 7 yrs.

    In the top picture the black "cheeks" don't look bad, hardly noticeable, but the Blue colored one stand out so much makes me want to vomit.

    I've always liked the boxy look. Found it more practical than those "hatchback" designs everyone seems to have. That's one reason I had Jeep Patriots for the last 16 years before buying my "boxy" BSBB.

  9. So this happened on a drive across the state and back. Doesn’t seem like a reasonable wear pattern. Just the one area.

    Probably the vibration was cause by that tire being out of balance. That would happen with a huge section of it basically gone. Glad you stayed safe.

    We use to use potatos. Local cop parked under the drive thru overhang at the bank waiting for speeders at night. We'd carefully shove a potato in the exhaust pipe then go flying past him. He give chase only to have his Plymouth cop car drop dead on him. Fun times !

    I recently had my 1st oil change at Valvoline and was shocked that Ford calls for a synthetic blend. I had to look it up when I got home and sure enough Ford calls for a blended oil rather than 100% synthetic.

    I feel real lucky that I got mine fixed about 2 weeks after I got my letter from Ford. I guess it was all about the timing of when parts were available.

    So sorry to hear that .Man, that just totally sucks. My Jeep Patriot, that I traded in on my BB edition, was rated to go thru 2 feet of water. Went thru a flooded under pass at 21" with no problems. Now you've got me worried. Hope for the best of best outcomes. Hopefully you'll get your $800...
