It tracks well as long as it can see the marked lane edges, do it tends to disengage on tight turns cresting a hill. I doubt many would encounter this, I was testing it on a hilly winding road to learn the limits.
Well I gotta tell you, much of this type of thinking is, in my opinion, media driven. We live in New England and have an EV that isn’t kept in a garage but we do have a home charger. We only typically drive 150 miles a week so only need one 6 hour home charge per week. For long trips our GPS...
I filled up a mnth before I left and I’m away from mine for 7 weeks for the third time. I never add anything to the fuel for such a short time. Now my boat that sits for 7 months gets a treatment of Yamalube.
BTW, don’t kill your battery, take a 10mm socket and remove the ground wire. Takes two...
I think it is important that this stuff gets investigated, but I have a 2021 BSBL that for 6 months a year is lucky to see 2 miles on any given day, and the other 6 months 16 miles 3 days a week when I commute to my summer job. The only issues I see after 3 years are my auto stop/start doesn't...
I just saw on another thread that they are producing over 400 Bronco Sports /day and I’m still trying to wrap my head around how you do that with real QC. Makes me glad I was an early order where they were still trying hard to work out kinks and make a good impression. Mine sat in production...
Back in 2021 most everyone was getting a sunroof on their Badlands, in fact it may have been part of the BL trim level package and caused a number of us to switch from the First Edition. I guess the rail market hasn’t picked up on the lack of BL sunroof deliveries.
Yes, these are the signs of your battery needing replacement. Mine’s been doing this for almost 3 years because I generally drive short trips, but that’s okay because I hate the auto stop/start feature.
?
It’s funny, people on a Rivian forum who have the quad motor trash-talk the dual motor with computer controlled clutch version. From experience I can say that the dual motor clutch version engages 4WD perfectly, just as my BS BL does. And now that more dual motor front/rear computer...
We have had a 1500# rated one from Harbor Freight for 5 years and it has been great. We could store it inside which probably helps a good deal. We just got an electric pickup so will probably not need the trailer anymore.
Well no different than losing your fob! We never carry the fob for our Rivian. Walking up to it with our phones unlocks the doors, adjusts the seat and mirrors and starts the phone music playing on the stereo for whoever is in drivers seat. My wife and I carry a backup card we can touch to the...
When I called the excuse was that they were “moving a lot if files around”. I spent 40 years designing and coding commercial software and the Internet has dragged user expectations lower and lower, but such an easy fix as not being able to stick one file in the correct directory is a new low...
Visit Ford Sync3 Update Page and check out your VIN. If/when they get the download fixed you can download and put it onto an empty USB stick to install. There are also pretty good instructions below the download link - which you will only see if you are not up to date.
Is your battery tender connected to the battery terminal or to the BMS unit? If not to the BMS unit the BS computer doesn’t know the actual charge level.
