That's a common complaint on the Rivian forum. The nice thing about a certified collision center is that the result looks like it came from the factory. I did have to lay out $1500 to order the glass, but I got it all back.
If you have the adaptive cruise control you may need to have the cameras recalibrated. If so make sure your local Safelite can do that. Mine couldn't for my Rivian and I took it to a certified collision center. Insurance covered the whole thing.
Mine would go off when I was approaching someone turning from behind and I didn't feel I needed to brake. Mostly it was pretty good. We traded for a Volvo and keep it on high sensitivity because it also detects things approaching from off the road (deer we're hoping). So far it seems as reactive...
This happens a lot on our work F250s. HIt the OK button on the steering wheel to clear the message. It does affect the lane recognition and pre-collision. We drive our trucks on the beach and ignore it because tsiermittent and we don't care, but you probably should get it serviced.
The last 3 years with my Badlands has been a lot of fun. From waiting 9 months to get it delivered after ordering, to driving it on our beaches. Time for a new adventure!
I just traded my 2021 Badlands on a new Volvo XC90 plug-in hybrid for my wife (and I get her R1T). I had a door ding and a tire sensor fault showing with 13k miles and got :$26,500 plus almost $1500 in tax savings. I was pleasantly shocked how well the value has held up.
I used to have to downshift my diesel motorhome on long upgrades or it would overheat. Unless I missed it I didn't catch what BS model you have. If it's the BL you should have manual shifter control. Also, I don't remember why, but I thought the tow rating for a BS is 1500#, even though it is a...
This is a concern I have for my Rivian because it is so completely connected - which is also part of the fun of owning and driving it. Unfortunately it is in the body shop (coming home soon) and they have been trained to set it to In Service mode. Pretty much all I can do is monitor it's location.
I wouldn't worry about the rebuilt transmission once they finally get parts and get it done. I had a brand new 1994 Chevy Tahoe, the year when they changed the name from the original K-5 Blazer but kept the original K-5 mechanics. One day in traffic I pushed the gas and ... Nothing except revs...
I'm pretty sure the OP meant the RDU which I guess stands for Rear Drive or Rear Differential Unit.
I agree that 5 weeks and no end in sight would have me checking the state Lemon Law.
It seems that every year my 2021 BS BL puts up a warning on the dash that it wants an oil change, so I take it to the dealer and use my Ford Points. Works fine for another year and then it happens again. Does that count?
You have a lot to learn about solar. My insurance hasn't gone up in 3 years and it's not a fire hazard as it confirms to applicable electrical code and was inspected by our town. I don't have a battery, but I bet it is safer than than the propane system i used to use to heat my house.
As far...
