I hope that FoMoCo doesn't let Honda beat them in this category.......
With several comments on how the Sport looks similar in size to the 2012 and earlier Escapes......
..... can one of our expert Photoshop\Rendering folks take a earlier Escape and the Sport and do a comparison?
This is something else that I like FoMoCo to give us some fresh bread crumbs on, especially since the NY Auto Show has been delayed.....
Come on FoMoCo..... What are the Official Bronco Sport Colors?
Has anyone heard an updates on which engine(s) the Sport will be getting?
....... and with the NY Auto Show being delayed, it would be nice if FoMoCo would drop us a few more bread crumbs on this ....... :bandit:
I'd say to shift it just a "little" to the left and to bump the SRU (Sport) up about a half a line (ever so slightly higher than the Escape, but still smaller than the On-Road Performance & Mustang Inspired BEV).
I personally don't see a need for a 2WD only Sport.
If someone wants 2WD, that can just get a Escape...... (again, IMHO)
I'm "thinking" an AWD similar to what's in the Focus RA might be the way to go.
What are your thoughts?
My 2007 Mercury Mariner is factory rated for a Max of 3501 LBS., so for me, that's my minimum for the Sport.
Just for a reference... the Honda Pilot & Passport AWD's are rated for 5000 LBS., so to be competitive with what I "think" will be a similar sized competitor, hopefully the Sport will...
Yes, it's probably set in stone by now as @Mustang313 mentioned.
Now going by the Chart is the other post (https://www.broncosportforum.com/forum/threads/2021-bronco-sport-baby-bronco-will-be-very-rugged-says-ford-presentation.1028/#post-22289), the BabyBronco is being called "Small Rugged...
Ok.... I don't like "Sport", as it reminds me of what an older guy would say to a young boy as he's messing up the boy's hair. "That's ok Sport, you'll get'em next time." It also (IMHO) dose not associate well with "Ruggedness" in which the BabyBronco is supposed to offer over the Escape. Was...
I've recently heard that the Baby Bronco or Bronco Sport or Whatever It's Going To Be Called is being delayed until after the BroncoBronco has been announced and will be a 2021 MY Vehicle.
Can any of out insiders comment on this?
