I would go with OEM installation. If the windshield is not installed correctly it will throw off the camera for lane keeping where it cannot be calibrated. Check the operation of your lane keeping system immediately before having it replaced them immediately after to ensure it didn't get...
I am glad to hear the trailer light check is back. I just checked and the android still shows 5.7.0. I'm sure the newer android version will be out soon.
I think you are either at or over the towing limit. Now it does tie better than you might think but when you are at or over max weight, you'll need to maybe keep it in sport mode to keep the RPM up and reduce speed a bit. What engine 1.5 or 2.0?
It was with a few other selections and was removed from the app in the spring. You could stand behind the trailer and check your lights with your phone.
I have 55k on a 21 BB and no issues. It's strange how it seems certain BS are plagued and others seem to be better off. I will be watching my 21 and my 24 very closely. It's a shame that Ford designed such a cool vehicle and yet forgone some basic quality assurances in production.
I have a 21 with 50K and no issues and a 24 with only 1K but no issues. I can tell that the 24 has definitely benefitted from 4 years of production. It is smoother, quiter and gets better mileage. Both are 1.5L Big Bends.
I have a 21 with 50k and a 24 with 1k both Big Bends. No issues with either. I am a retired mechanic and keep right up with preventative maintenance measures. I do find the 24 to be a more refined unit, no oil cooler on the 1.5, a little quieter and better economy.
I haven't tapped into fuse #3 but that really doesn't make any sense at all. I am surprised they didn't replace the battery, update the PCM software and reset the BMS. Following to see what the REAL fix is. Good luck
In Canada it is not a requirement. Keep track of your maintenance records but if they feel oil changes was an issue, they'll just send a sample to a lab to check its quality.
I have checked and researched 16" rims for the BS and they will fit with about a minimum of 3/16" clearance. My question is for those that have done it and reside in the snowy regions, did you have any issues of snow or ice building up in the rim and causing issues either jamming or rubbing on...
I would like to know why people are having power failures after they have had the recall done. Didn't the reprogramming allow for closer control of the battery state of charge. What is the common denominator for failures after the recall.
My daughter will be getting our 2021 when we get our 2024. I just replaced some of the problematic items on it, including the pump, just as a preventative measure, lol.
It's a work in progress but overall it's nice. The wireless android auto/carplay is nice. Not all models with sync4 eliminate the manual HVAC controls. The new Ranger has manual and on screen controls. Not sure what the 25 BS will have.
