Love it - looks like a blast. Yes....air mattresses are miserable in the cold. Nothing but a super thin layer of rubber between you and air that quickly hits ambient temperature. Been there, done that, and the comfort of an air mattress was quickly overshadowed by the cold from the same mattress.
He's probably long gone. I had a Mazda RX-7 way back that I absolutely loved, so I'll always have a soft spot for the brand. I looked into that same SUV that the OP presumably traded in his Bronco Sport to get. All I can say is, choice and options are the spice of life, so more power to him...
I'm actually pleasantly surprised by how planted and solid the BS feels. I think it feels more solid when driving than anything this shape deserves to feel. I recently drove my 2016 BMW X3 about 930 miles from Georgia to Iowa, and then drove a Bronco Sport back the same 930 miles home. I was...
2023 Badlands ordered on 9/6 and it was ready to be picked up from my dealer on 01/07. I wasn't able to pick it up for a few weeks after that, but from order to ready for me to drive it away, almost exactly 4 months to the day.
window tinting is one of those things with a wide spectrum of tinting products, quality, and costs. Yes - $100 for the front windows is in the ballpark but for a lower-end quality product.
With tint, you generally have three options:
General tint
ceramic
Nano-ceramic.
ceramic is better than...
Three little buttons that I really like on the ā23 Badland:
I bought this BS for my daughter, but for awhile, Iāll be sharing it with her. We are not the same size. ?
If it wasnāt a shared car, then this wouldnāt matter, but for now, itās a small but nice feature to have. Glad Ford added it!
Today, I used 42,000 Ford Pass points on a 7 year/100k mile Ford ESP plan.
Parts I plan to put on my BS keep coming in. Today, I received the 1.75" FordRangerLifts lift. Now I'm just awaiting the new wheels that I've got on order, which are backordered and should arrive by mid-February...
My 1.75" lift from FordRangerLifts should arrive today or tomorrow. I'm not worried about it negatively impacting the vehicle. I am going to have a shop that specializes in off-road builds do the installation.
Like you said, it's just a glitch. I noticed the same thing recently on the Builder tool. I configured a Badlands and the picture showed a matching body-colored roof instead of the black roof, but in the details of the configuration, the black roof was selected.
Agreed. This is a question of save a bit now, or get a bit more on the backend. Typically, you come out better off going with the newest model year in a situation like this, as the back end will likely be worth more than the difference today.
Yeah - '22 BS Badlands on the left and a '23 BS Badlands on the right. No savings in "real-estate'. The keys are the same size. Just had that relatively useless button removed.
Not sure if anybody with a ā23 is still dealing with the backup squeal, but it may be fixed? Iāve had my daughterās ā23 in prime condition for the squeal, and none, whatsoever. My sonās ā22 would definitely have that whale sound in our wet chill.
