hmmmm. I don’t know. Yes - for sure - if the car had caught on fire and somebody was hurt. But if that hasn’t happened, there is no “tort” worth pursuing for a lawyer.
This is in my front passenger tire. You can see the cut here. There is a matching cut on the driver's side. You have to get down low and look up to see it. Have a similar, smaller cut in the plastic directly behind the tire.
In my experience, the dealership sales team operates in willful ignorance regarding recalls. They like to not know anything about that, and claim that's a service topic, not a sales topic. I agree with what Mark S. said above...but I've never seen a sales person step up regarding recalls when...
I think this topic has been beat to death but it will never die.
The reality is, it's a false comparison to try to compare the Outer Banks to the Badlands. It's a comparison that should not even exist. The two are not comparable....they are significantly different vehicles.
The Outer Banks...
i definitely didn’t take anything you’ve said as “shade!” Appreciate the comments and where you are coming from. And even if you had actually thrown shade, I still wouldn’t have taken offense. This Bronco Sport came out exactly how I’d hoped it would. I’m really happy with it and I totally...
Hmm. Doesn’t sound like you’ve done what I’ve done. Mine sits taller than a stock Jeep Wrangler. Also has more ground clearance than a stock Wrangler. A Wrangler could definitely be modified to be taller than my BS….but mine is definitely taller than a stock Wrangler.
I felt the same way. Did a 1.75" lift and put 31" KO2 tires on it, and solved the low vantage point and car-like feel. Now it's a good height, and very truck-like. I'm pretty satisfied, now.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts. When I bought a '22 Badlands, I felt the same way: That the price difference between it and the OBX was very small relative to what you got with the BL.
That’s funny. Yeah - that’s almost my situation. My son headed off to college and we bought him the first BS in the family. After he left, we bought my daughter one. He doesn’t come home a lot so we rarely have both in the driveway at the same time.
Thank you! It’s not everyone’s cup of tea, but it came out exactly how I’d hoped. I’m really pleased with it.
I used Fordrangerlifts.com for the lift.
Your 235/70 coopers will look great!
Some of you know that we’ve got 2 Bronco Sports in my household. For various reasons, we needed 2 cars. One thing led to another, and next thing I knew, we had 2 Badlands.
I’ve got to admit - I liked the first enough to buy the second, but I didn’t love it. I liked it.
I now completely love...
I love the sentiment, but I'd never use an SUV that I drive to an off-roading area as the same vehicle that I then take off-roading. There are vehicles to get you there and home, and then there are vehicles to use while there. In my experience, the best ones to use while there are often not...
Yeah - I want to, as well, but it's going to be a bit before I can get around to it. This is my son's car...these modifications were a birthday present for him. He's coming home soon to swap back for this and take it back to college. So - yes - at some point, we'll get it out for some fun, but...
