After several trips in deep snow, I'm still impressed with the BL's performance. My wife is not a car person but even she says it's a "beast" in the snow.
When we left the ski resort yesterday, 10" of snow had fallen and the plow had pushed another 6" behind the cars. The Subaru next to us was...
I just installed a Thinkware F70, ~$70. If you want a cheap set-it-and-forget-it camera, this is the best option I've seen. Good picture and build quality. The only con so far is that it has an annoying voice that announces the start of recording every time you turn the car on. No screen or wifi...
This is a great idea. The one you have is extra valuable as it appears they have discontinued it.
All my bikes are way too tall to stand up inside too. Otherwise I'd buy it.
Since about 10 days ago, my iphone won't connect to carplay. The Sync screen shows "iphone detected" and the iphone will charge but there's no tab for carplay at the bottom of the screen. I've tried 3 different cables.
I've checked all the settings I can think of, what am I missing?
There's a Bronco Big Bend on a lot near me, sticker is $40k which is what I paid out the door for my BS BL. It's got the manual transmission and hard top, and that sweet Cactus Gray, not much else. I sent the dealer a message, just for grins. We'll see how badly they want to sell it.
I've been afflicted lately with BBE (Big Bronco Envy). Especially that manual transmission, the likes of which we may never see again. If Ford has the right incentives, it would be hard to say no.
The driver side wiper is swinging onto the A pillar. Probably due to windshield technician not positioning it correctly. There is a nut holding it onto the shaft which I removed, but it won’t pull off. Do I need a wiper arm puller?
I just finished installing mine. I'll echo @cprcubed's complaints, but at least I received all of the fasteners, and I had some suitable washers in my stash. Also, what's with the imperial fasteners? This is 2023, everything else on the vehicle is metric. I have a whole set of metric hex impact...
Keep trying different dealers if you don't want to pay out of pocket. A lot of times it's just a matter of finding the right technician who has seen the problem before. Some of these "technicians" seem like they might have been hired to sweep the floor the week before.
I had an elusive shudder...
I use Mud/Ruts if there are puddles on the street, and Rock Crawling Mode for getting over the grassy berm at the mall. Sport Mode is for track days at Laguna Seca, Eco Mode if I'm driving in Berkeley. The only place I tried Sand Mode was on a short trip to Tatooine.
Sorry, I'm turning off...
People do dumb things on test drives...Once watched a new Mustang GT on a test drive spin a left turn onto the freeway ramp, ran it up over an 8" curb.
I drove to college in a 16 year old Volvo station wagon that still had my little brother's cheerios under the back seat. Had to paint my own ironic racing stripes to make it "cool".
Lucky kid!
