IMHO, this engine should be left for the Escape. The Sport should have the 2.0L as the base and "maybe" something like the 2.3L for the top end ....

Whether or not FoMoCo considers the Passport or Pilot a competitor or not to the Sport is their choice, but FoMoCo needs to realize that they are a factor in my (and several others) buying decisions as the Passport is the same size as my 2007 Mercury Mariner which I'd be replacing. Also, not...
