What year JCW did you have? I got an '09 Electric blue; hard top, black roof sitting in my garage; swapping out my blown turbo atm ? Such a fun car to drive; 212hp and had mine top out at 153mph ?

1 person install is how I did it.; 2 people might be easier when adjusting. Tape off around the bracket before removing the bolts then just line it up before tightening after you add the brackets. Took me 20-30 min; one hand to hold in place after lining up with the tape, one hand to tighten bolt.

In NY you just need a Dr to sign off and you are good to go.

I bet the dealer never fastened the bolts tight. Take some lock tight and go over all the connections to ensure they are tight. AND NEVER EVER go into an auto car wash. Either hand was or touch less car wash.

It was part of the set thru Ford. If you buy the bars from Yakima or Rei the locks have to be purchased separately I believe

I would never use that winch; that bull bar isn't connected to the frame as the tow hooks do. Looks great but might do some damage if used.

I'm at $6k with my set up; might not be able to carry as much as the Sylvansport but my RTT is 4 seasons unlike the pop up tent from the Sylvansport. Either way.....any towing accessories for the BS will be expensive due to the low towing weight. Choose your poison and live it up ??

That's the first one I looked at; but could swallow the price. Even after you add a spare tire and the rtt kit; you are looking at $3900. Still a little pricey but got the wife to cave if I promised kayaks for her.

I believe the BL is the only model that continues to come with it and I doubt the normal person could distinguish the sound difference between engine cover and no engine cover unless it's my TDi or Powerstroke.
