It's a trailer you build it then register it as personal trailer. Comes with VIN, certificate of origin, etc...
I have an apt at the DMV Monday to register and get my plates; then it's game on ?
And since it's so light you pay the minimum on the trailer; $14.48 a year in NY
Just built my new trailer; was getting too difficult for the wife to assist with the RTT and getting on the BS roof. So 2 birds with 1 stone; get to carry my kayaks and RTT. Going to be nice when we camp I won't need to close the tent when we venture off; just lock the hitch and off we go. At...
I was in the same boat with the hitch. The OEM wiring is a lot of work(splicing wires, running wires). I ended up buying a zero contact interface; super easy and works great; uhaul carries them for $160. The hardest part was running the power to the front of the vehicle...
If you are scared about attaching a recover strap or something to the front frame or cross member. Then try some recovery boards or something along those lines; get a chisel and open up the ice for more room to move.
Went to Ford to build a full size Bronco; was looking at a $60k vehicle. Saw the BS Outer Banks outside and test drove it; got back and the guy said he had a BL at the other dealership he could bring right over. Bought it before I even saw it; I did previous research and new what the BL had to...
My engine cover ???
No but all seriousness; it's a great roll out of a classic name. Ford has really put effort into this crossover design and really delivered imo. Fun vehicle to drive, looks great, and surprisingly strong off road (not rock climbing). I'm happy we got the Sport instead of...
Finally wired, ziptied, and up and running. The amber drls really pop; couldn't bring myself to put a hole for the switch; so for the meantime I ran it next to the light switch.
There are 2 types of pple I've found about RTT's. 1 type own them and love them the other type can't seem to justify the price so they bash them.
To each their own; you like what you like. My RTT is 4 seasons and I love being able to have it set up in 5-10min, it's a different feel being off...
Anyone else have the cloth/micro fiber seats have this issue?
My wife is 4'11" 120lbs soaking wet and I'm 5'10" 170lbs yet my seat looks "used and abused". Seats are comfortable; maybe just poor design or product ?‍♂️?‍♂️?‍♂️
Wish there were pics; I've been looking at the Yakima road shower. I'm sure it's probably similar; who knows on functionality. There are some DIY showers; but they tend to leak, not heat up well, and not hold pressure as well.
