I was in the same boat with the hitch. The OEM wiring is a lot of work(splicing wires, running wires). I ended up buying a zero contact interface; super easy and works great; uhaul carries them for $160. The hardest part was running the power to the front of the vehicle...

If you are scared about attaching a recover strap or something to the front frame or cross member. Then try some recovery boards or something along those lines; get a chisel and open up the ice for more room to move.

Any noticeable gains? Becareful with splashing around; I see a few engine bays get a little wet and muddy.

Does a lot of debris/dirt get in-between the skid plate and bumper? Does the skid plate need to be removed for oil changes?

Finally wired, ziptied, and up and running. The amber drls really pop; couldn't bring myself to put a hole for the switch; so for the meantime I ran it next to the light switch.

There are 2 types of pple I've found about RTT's. 1 type own them and love them the other type can't seem to justify the price so they bash them. To each their own; you like what you like. My RTT is 4 seasons and I love being able to have it set up in 5-10min, it's a different feel being off...

Anyone else have the cloth/micro fiber seats have this issue? My wife is 4'11" 120lbs soaking wet and I'm 5'10" 170lbs yet my seat looks "used and abused". Seats are comfortable; maybe just poor design or product ?‍♂️?‍♂️?‍♂️

Wish there were pics; I've been looking at the Yakima road shower. I'm sure it's probably similar; who knows on functionality. There are some DIY showers; but they tend to leak, not heat up well, and not hold pressure as well.
