  1. I do not recommend roof mounted bike racks. Hitch mounted rack is the way to go.

Well yea... lol. I have a roof rack on my Focus ST, but it's relatively low to the ground. No idea how I'd get my bike on top of the Bronco Sport without a ladder.
  2. Paint chips

I wish this surprised me. My Ford Focus SE had paint peeling on the bottom of the hatch after 4 years. My Focus ST had it peeling off where the two bumpers meet the metal panels (on the metal), had it fixed under warranty initially, Just yesterday I noticed one of them has peeled off again. I...
  3. How will factory fabric wheel well liners hold up?

2 reports? With how many vehicles that have these. You’re more likely to write off your bronco sport in an accident than ruin the liner.
  4. Isolated problems or the Ford norm

I've had 2 Focuses in a row, a 2012 Focus SE, and a 2016 Focus ST, and I had virtually no issues with either one mechanically beyond typically wear and tear items (new wheel bearings on the ST at 125,000km). The one issue I had with both, was shitty paint. It's not even that the body was...
  5. Order Submitted

That’s wild. I ordered Jan 4th and haven’t heard a peep since then. No vin, no date, nothing. Not sure if a Canada thing or what.
  6. VW ID Buzz

This thing is going to sell like crazy. I'm going to put it on my list of vehicles after my Bronco Sport for sure.
  7. Ford Announces EV Explorer, Avaitor and “rugged SUVs”

Bronco EV, or at least Bronco Hybrid isn't an if, but a when. There's a Hybrid Wrangler, they need a hybrid to compete, and to make the mileage more manageable on the Bronco.
  8. What were you driving prior to your BS?

2016 Focus ST, waiting on a Bronco Sport Badlands now. Same engine output, better ground clearance and AWD. I do a lot of skiing and biking, and I was finding the Focus ST with summer performance tires/winter tires and low ground clearance to be a bit sketchy with snow covered or mud covered pot...
  9. Flip-Up Rear Glass - An Essential Feature?

I just can’t really see myself using it. The idea of using it for lumber is very appealing. But driving at 80kph/50mph with it up doesn’t seem appealing. And neither does anchoring it down part way. I’d be so worried of it breaking with no frame to support it.
  10. Nice MotorBiscuit Write-Up

Except you have to wait for a Bronco Sport too.. lol
  11. Badlands 2.0L Engine Cover Parts list

Nothing to do with looks. Rear passengers can break their necks in an accident without them. But an issue if you never have rear passengers though.
  12. Badlands 2.0L Engine Cover Parts list

I'm more upset about the folding headrests. I'll actually consider ordering the folding one parts if I can. Having to pull the headrests and stick them on the floor every time I fold the seats down in my Focus is my biggest pet peeve.
  13. Build Date Wait?

November 6 2021? Wow. I was told 3-4 months, which is fine, but if I don't have any sort of a date by 3 months I may explore other options.
  14. Build Date Wait?

I ordered my Bronco Sport Badlands on Jan 4th. As of now I still have no VIN or Build date. It seems like people in the US are getting their VIN days after ordering. My dealer said I would get the VIN once it has a build date scheduled. Has this been other people's experience for Canadian orders?
  15. Why did you order a Bronco Sport?

Have a focus ST. It’s proving to be not the greatest for my lifestyle often driving in deep snow to ski hills or muddy bumpy trails to mountain bike. needed something to carry my bike and skis but wasn’t boring. Thought about a ranger, Tacoma or Maverick but decided I didn’t want a current...
  16. Order Timeline

Wondering if country allotments matter too. Wonder if Canada and USA have different wait times.
  17. Is the Honeymoon over already?

Big bronco is gorgeous. But I'm waiting for a hybrid version before I seriously consider it. The thing is just too much of a pig for my driving needs.
  18. Got the first scratches on my Bronco already...

I want to wrap them too. I wonder if the wrap will interfere with the keypad entry.
  19. Waiting

This is why I don't want to ask for my VIN... I kinda don't want the temptation to check delivery dates.
