I ordered a 2022 Velocity Blue Badlands 2 weeks ago, Dealer said 3-4 months, but not sure how well that will hold up. Would have been nice for Winter driving, but my Focus ST hasn't failed me yet, so I should manage.
It should lower it. The dynamic weight limit is based on rollover chance. So the heavier the rack, the less weight limit you have left over for dynamic.
Are people getting the factory ones that are almost $1000 (CAD), or going aftermarket and installing themselves? The factory option price seems crazy to me for what you're getting.
