I was actually curious if anyone had tested a BCM write with the 2.3.44 version yet. Thanks for confirming.
Unfortunately my Badlands and I are separated until Christmas (new job in CA and it is really my wife's ride so it is still in the Midwest) so I can't do much testing right now ?
I deliberately ordered the Badlands without the Badlands package, largely because I did not want a leather interior and I honestly did not see any additional features that justified the additional cost. The only two extra cost features that I originally ordered were the Rapid Red paint and the...
Technically it should be possible but currently there is a bug in the FORScan software that is preventing writes to the BCM module. It's been noted on their forums and I believe a few of us have submitted a report but it hasn't been fixed as of yet.
More like what I did to my Bronco Sport over the last week... ?
Got a new gig that means my wife and I will be relocating to the West Coast (Monterey area) over the holidays and since I will be leaving next week ahead of the "Big Move" I had a laundry list of items that I wanted to get done on...
Jason posted a reply as well, but a good place to start is with the owner's manual. For our Bronco Sports it lists a 30 amp Aftermarket Auxiliary Lighting fuse in the Battery Junction Box at the #1 location. For my Badlands model, the fuse is indeed there, so even though I haven't dug into it...
Thank You.
Your best bet for an electronic service manual (DVD) is eBay. I've been getting mine through the reseller manualbasket but there are others you might prefer.
No kidding - I took a role in the Monterey area and while I'm really looking forward to it, Central Illinois is much wetter... I won't miss the cold though...
Thanks - the trailer package seemed to be something of a unicorn in the beginning. I actually did have it on my order sheet when I reserved mine in July of 2020 (which was confirmed by the dealer when it was delivered without it on 12/31) and never did get an explanation as to why, but lack of...
Trailer Wiring Install for Bronco Sport Using Factory Power Circuit (Part Two – Installation)

I would honestly check with Boomba support before making a purchase as their website doesn't currently list a BOV for the U.S. 3 Cylinder 1.5L. The 1.5L offering for the U.S. you likely saw is for the 1.5L Four-pot motor.
They DO offer a BOV for the European-spec 1.5L 3 Cylinder (which is used...
Rust Oleum satin black heat-resistant enamel. I've used it as an under-body paint in the past with pretty good results and it's easy to find/inexpensive. Doesn't really need to be gorgeous, but I tend to keep my vehicles and even if I have to paint it again in a few years it should slow the...
Yeah, changed the oil on my Badlands this week (along with another upgrade project that is still ongoing) and my experience was pretty much the same. While I didn't really find it that hard to remove the plate I was surprised at the heft of the thing. Clearly it isn't cosmetic. ?
The only...
In looking at the settings in FORScan, I got the impression that anti-sway is just a part of the overall stability control system (so no additional sensors or hardware), which is why I suspected that Ford is just leaving it enabled for any Bronco Sport that is capable of towing, not just those...
You could source all the factory parts, but there are easier ways to go. I installed a Curt Hitch on a Saturday afternoon. Wiring is on my to-do list but I've been doing some research on that 1st (as well as waiting for a free weekend to do the install).
Also, I don't know if the situation is...
Unfortunately, it's probably not doable via just a programming change. This is something I looked into with my Fiesta ST as the European models support one touch up/down on all windows (but the U.S. model is just one-touch up/down on the drivers-only) and Ford does typically use different drive...
