  1. Rear Seat Console Vault - Any users?

That's what I thought but the ad said that it fits all the BS. I would like to see an installation on an Outer Banks if anyone has one.
  2. Rear Seat Console Vault - Any users?

The rear seat in my 2023 Outer banks does not look like the one in the photo. Anyone have a picture of this in their BS?
  3. Sync 3 and USB stick

I have tried the Ottocast on both ports so I believe that both are active. It just is not showing up on Sync 3.
  4. Pssst. Hey missing BS parts. Imma comin fo ya!

You plug the Ottocast in instead of your phone. Once you pair your phone with the Ottocast in bluetooth, it hooks up automatically. I just leave the phone on the wireless charger.

Mine is 256 GB as well with about 2500 flac/ mp3 file.s I have it plugged into my USB-A port and my Ottocast wireless adapter into the USB-C. I couldn't get my old IPod to work either.
  6. Better Battery research for Badlands...hmm

I am trying to help an RV owner diagnose problems with his solar system and he elected to use lithium batteries. Most of the automobile battery testers do not work for lithium--it has to specifically state that they work with lithium. It is also doubtful whether regular battery chargers/...

Here is mine. I did not do the wiring so tow hitch and installation was only $307. Bike rack was another $130 from Craig's List.

I had them in my second Corvette. They really held up and were easy to keep clean. I didn't know that you could get them for the BS.
  11. The little things... accessories so far.

I believe that ACF-50 was developed as an anti-corrosion product for aircraft but it has multiple uses. It competes with Boeing's Boeshield T-9 and Corrosion-X. I bought a gallon of this (about $100) when my aircraft mechanic recommended that I apply an anti-corrosive to the inside of my...

You can program the height of your garage door. Just follow directions in the garage door opener manual.
  13. What was your favorite vehicle?

It would be between my 1974 Triumph TR-6 and my 1984 red Corvette. Both were a lot of fun.
  14. Complete shut down while driving

Random shutdown issues are the hardest ones to fix. I have had three cars with this issue. My old 3-series BMW with 218 miles started shutting down every five miles and the dealer identified five possible fixes, all expensive, and asked me which one I wanted to try first. I donated that car...
  15. Rapidly cracking windshield..

Definitely insist on OEM glass. I had a tree limb break real glass on my 350Z and insurance initially replaced with non-OEM glass and it had to be replaced with the original glass.
  16. Flaky CarPlay Connection

How long was the cable when you had problems? I have made multiple attempts to use a shorter cable to connect my Ottocast wireless adapter and anything shorter than about 7 inches just does not work. I have tried both USB-A to USB-C and USB-C to USB-C..

For the Shenandoah, go during the summer and combine with a camping/ white water river chartered trip.
  18. First Trip to the Great Smoky Mountains.

I did a trip like that many years ago in a BMW. Traveled through the Smoky Mountains, through the Indian Reservation, and visited the Biltmore Estate. I would recommend that trip for everyone!
  19. What do y’all do to clean your engine bay?

The S100 looks like a good product to try. I was thinking of using the Muck Off cleaner that I use on the chain of my bicycle. It is biodegradable and you just hose off. Airplane mechanics are required to clean an aircraft engine as part of the annual inspection. I have seen some use mineral...
