That's weird but orange/yellow lights are safer because it doesn't mess with your night vision adaptation as much. Cop cars have red interior lights just like submarines. Rally cars have yellow tints on their headlights for night stages. It takes 10 minutes for optimal night vision and stuff...
Maybe 20 years ago. Now it's guydudebros in their lifted trucks with stadium lights on their football sized grill 10 feet behind the back of my head.
Bright headlights is becoming my obsession now that I find it almost painful to drive.
That being said I dont know why making headlights not as...
oh wow the interior big screen tv is a deal breaker. i hate how bright the interiors get now. it's dangerous. doesn't let your eyes adjust to night time driving.
I didn't feel like Bronco Sport is in the same category as most of these. it's a smaller vehicle. I would definitely dismiss everything except the dodge hornet as too big for me. Our car is all butch and rugged but it competes with Mini countryman, fiat 500L, Hyundai kona, Kia seltos, Toyota...
I'm on the side that thinks we should have less cars. EVs are not a perfect solution to all the problems that cars have created over the past 100 years. Personally I would still prefer a small displacement gas engine in a light weight vehicle.
Bronco sport looks better. I appreciate the utilitarian aesthetics. Also, I have zero interest in off roading or being in a big car and the big bronco soft tops look straight up terrible.
The engine is all aluminum and there is a lot of aluminum used in suspension where you'd usually find steel. The hood is alum as well. There isn't much mvh treatment either.
Towing figures are oddly conservative in US. The Ford Kuga is rated for 3300lbs with the 1.5 engine. If you got trailer brakes and stay off the interstate, what's the problem?
Three headed dragon is in slavic mythology and I thought it was named that because the factory was in Bulgaria. I was wrong. It's India? So I don't know. It's probably not slavic.
My father worked in a different part of Siberia. They still used Reindeer sometimes. I think it was until the 1970s (edit: 1998!) that a Lada could be had with a crank start. It's a different world out there.
I didn't bother test driving a Bronco Sport before buying it. There was no point because the experience would be so different from what I was used to. I sat in one and it felt huge, inside and out. It was my first SUV, my first automatic, my first new car. It just happen to tick all the boxes on...
So if you give it the beans and your 3 cylinder suddenly acts like a 2 cylinder being all jerky and stuttering... that might be an ignition coil. It's very noticeable when 1/3 of the engine is gone. I had mine fail around 25k.
I also find these engines sputter and bog down sometimes right after...
I see Ford hybrids used a lot as nyc cabs so they must be okay with racking up miles (200k+ miles) Prius batteries last way over 10 years and it's still a relatively easy replacement. At this point I think it's safe to trust a hybrid if the rest of the car is reliable.
