  1. FARLEY

I understand where he is coming from. He was hired to make money for Ford. Which means selling pick-up trucks that hardly anyone actually needs. But he is also a car enthusiast who realizes bigger is not always better. Market research probably showed that no one will buy an EV with 120 mile...
  2. More on the 2025 Bronco Sport

    These big screens are awful.
  3. Reduced HP for 2025 2.0L

I'll take whatever it takes to keep the gas engine going and keeps the air clean.
  4. Camping set ups… Whatcha got? Share Yours

i I haven't camped with a car yet. This was my tent for 10 years. It's just over 2 lbs.
  5. Replace stock Continental

I had the original ProContact until 50k miles. The only issue was hydroplaning in the last third of their life. Replaced with LX25. Great tire.
  6. 2025 Bronco Sport Spied Images

A new trim level for 2026?
  7. Installed Ford accessory dashcam VHL3Z-19G490-C

In my opinion, rear camera is a must. When I got hit, the footage made it smooth sailing getting paid by the insurance. I wired my system to the fuse behind the glovebox. No trim removal.
  8. Commute times and distances - Best/Worst

Now imagine all these people are in a car with average of 1.2 person per vehicle. So it's just the opposite for me. When I am stuck in traffic I think about how I'd rather be somewhere else. At least with a train you have options to get out or wait for another one or take a local that will be...
  9. Commute times and distances - Best/Worst

I lived in NYC most of my life and until my 30s I would just ride the train or bike to work. (number 2 worst on the list) Then I got my driver's license and I would drive to work in Brooklyn sometimes. About 10 miles so it would be under an hour one way. Now I live in NJ and still go into BK...
  10. Ford is possibly working on new TSB for Rear Brake Noise

I replaced all the pads and rotors with powerstop parts. The noise is gone. It got warmer recently so maybe it's just that.
  11. Reading vs. Bronco Sports

The Good Soldier Svejk. WW1 satire and the futility of war. Czech classic.
  12. Hood Scoop Recall

I lost one of my window deflectors a while back. Now I have 3 spares. Sticky tape is pretty good but not perfect.
  13. Yet more evidence of cooling EV sales

They see the writing on the wall. EVs are the latest attempt in securing a future for their business. So they'll lobby the governments and blow billions on marketing. Just to keep everyone trapped in the past with car dependency and wasted resources.
  14. bike rack

It fits two road bikes just fine. The interior rack was the whole reason I got this car. Keeps my bikes safe and clean.
  15. Would you trade in the Sport for the Big Bronco? Why or why not??

Zero interest in big bronco. The sport is already plenty big for me. We don't need this arms race of increasingly larger cars on the road in the guise of "safety"
  16. Rivian shocks with R2, R3, R3X reveals! $45K starting price, 0-60 under 3 secs, 300+ miles range

VW and Lancia vibes. Too bad all these new interiors are just big screen TVs. Looks bad
  17. Is the end nigh for Ford's EVs?

They are not. But our tax dollars shouldn't be used to incentivize cars anyways. EV or not. Oh well.
  18. Is the end nigh for Ford's EVs?

We had a Chinese built EV on sale for a couple years now. Polestar (Volvo ((Geely)) is made in China and doesnt qualify for the tax break. China makes more cars than all other other countries combined and locally they have 30% market share for EVs. It's silly to assume they don't know what they...
  19. I think it happened...cracked fuel injector

Nah when the fuel injector goes bad it feels like a damn tractor. Pretty funny. Cylinder deactivation you can't really tell when it's happening. Limp mode is like Eco mode+++ the ecu limits your throttle inputs heavily.
  20. Ford recalls cars with 1.0L engine.

You can't make something so reliable that it affects new sales, you can't be so unreliable that affects reputation. ?
