Ditto...I was going to say, inside of the windshield dirty? But yes, dirty grimy film builds up on anyone's windshield without even trying. That will cause the glare, halo effects, etc., and might not be apparent until night or strong lighting conditions.
No, I like the Ford nav. In fact with that and satellite, and HD radio I find little reason to plug in my phone, and just plop it on the charging pad instead. It connects via Bluetooth for calls and messages, and that's just fine.
Just finished the first change on my 2.0L at 3,267 mi. I can verify it's 4 x T30 screws attaching the bumper cover up through the bash plate from underneath (remove these first); and 6 x 13mm bolts attaching the bash plate (watch out, it's heavy and just drops right out). 15mm drain plug. The...
Regrettably I hadn't paid attention to any updates status but, I wasn't originally aware of this intelligent unlocking at the tailgate and hatch window. It was working normally and then, 1 day the same as reported here -- the hatch wouldn't be unlocked while the glass would be, with the key in...
TFL generally has praise for the Grand Cherokee...also a "softroader" *by definition*. MANY "true" or "real" off-roader/SUVS have NO front or rear locking diff. Today, more and more will have IS at 2 or 4 wheels too. The lowest common denominator (for "true" believers) is really the ability to...
With the added height from the mounting towers, I just don't see how anything at the crossbar level or above could interfere with the moonroof (except visibility). The moonroof only raises a fraction of an inch above the rails, even fully opened.
I think I may still buy the Ford/ARB compressor, it's a good deal online (not from ARB though), it should be much faster and built to take it. You can read about it on the ARB site.
More options are continually being developed -- everybody wants *in* on the Bronco Sport! There will be failures, and some will rise above, so waiting is not a bad strategy. I'm a little wary of the "level lift" that barely lifts the back end, as you need full articulation back there as well...
I think this was one I saw tested. The only question I have about it is, what about airing all 4 tires down to 18 or 15 psi, and all 4 back up again to 33? Most of this type of compressor will overheat in 10 mins. or so. A great thing to have for those emergencies, will it work for all 4 on the...
I believe Sand mode is similar to rock crawl; disables stability control and locks 4WD, but DOES NOT lock the rear "diff." I'd guess handles throttle inputs and steering differently. Among other things -- or I could be wrong/remembering incorrectly. In Sand mode, they want to allow the wheels to...
I think Roman generally likes the Defender, exept for quality issues; and I think he's jazzed about the upcoming Bronco. He seems to like the Toyotas too. He does say the seating/interior dimensions are uncomfortable in the Wrangler. But yeah, Wrangler for capabilities, why not?
I think that's a pretty broad statement, but I don't have the comprehensive tests survey to say one way or another. I'm sure it's expected any truck in RWD isn't going to get anywhere very far. I haven't seen such tests (in RWD), but admit I've been pretty focused elsewhere.
