I had the same issue with the Gen 1 Lightning. Even some of the standard F-150 parts were getting hard to get. My advice to someone looking to buy a limited production vehicle, what ever special parts are used will be also in limited quantities so beware. The center caps on the wheels were going for big bucks. The irradiance labels were insane. Late Model Restoration is a great place to get Lightning and Mustang reproduction parts. They even sell the center caps but they are not exactly the same.
Good advice to be sure. & here I thought an F150 of that era would be as easy as a Mustang, though yeah I can imagine any lightning specific parts would be scarce. I honestly had no idea how many reproduction parts are made for old cars until I had mine. I expected basic mechanical parts to be sure, but was surprised when even convertible specific parts weren’t hard to come by.

Yes it's and absolute blast. Our kids love it and now the grandkids do to.
I can image the heads that turn when you take it out. Very rare too see them like that.

Noice! I fell in love with the S2000 when I first saw one in a Car & Driver article. Alas, I'm 6'3", and the only way I can drive one is with my head poking higher than the windshield. The top of the windshield frame was perfectly aligned with my forward line of site. Top up? Not gonna happen... :cwl:

Well, I am just a tick shorter than you (6' 1.5") and haven't had an issue in the S2k, or the NA Miatas I owned prior to it. Maybe your torso is longer than mine. I'm all legs.

Super fun car, I adore it.

Funny thing — the opening/closing scenes were the only time he was in an actual Tiger. During the show it was really an Alpine dressed up like a Tiger with a dubbed sound track.

I've only seen one Sunbeam Tiger in the wild. It was back in the eighty's at a gas station.

I looked at the guy and said "man... you suck". :)

Also a Karmann Ghia, Opel GT and Alpha Romeo Spider during opening and closing.
