If there is a way to access that, I don't know of it. Even if I could, it would be unethical to do so. Whether the issue existed when the previous owner traded it in or not, the vehicle was sold as a CPO, so the dealer should have caught it.This is my inside voice but I’ll say it anyway… is there anything that prevents you from providing OP with the former owners contact info (assuming is in the documentation for the recall work) so that OP could contact the former owner and ask about known issues with the gear selector?
